My parents had a lovely time staying at this airbnb. The room was comfortable, with a beautiful view from the porch and a nice shower. The front desk was very helpful, and flexible about adding another couple days to their stay when plans changed. Would definitely stay here again!

My feedback on this apartment is mixed. Firstly, the communication by the host was terrible - I had to send chasing emails to confirm the location of the apartment and didn't even get a final confirmation of the location in the end - just a phone number to call (despite me saying that my phone couldn't make calls while I was out there)! Secondly, the apartment is not an apartment (as described), it is a hotel room. And even then it is isn't the same room as in the picture. I felt that this goes against the spirit of air bnb. However, on the plus side the room was clean, the hotel porter was very helpful and friendly (once we had found the place after wandering round for an hour....), the balcony was perfect and the location was excellent (short walk to galata tower, many cafes and the galata bridge). Only downside was the loud, early morning call to prayer by the local mosque though this is very hard to avoid in istanbul (ear plugs were fine and in the end we started to sleep through it). Would recommend if you are both ok with it being a hotel and are comfortable with finding the place on minimal instructions.

Great location - both Galata tower and Tophane tram station are nearby. Yet it isn't on the loud touristic street - the neighborhood is quite calm and lovely. Apartments are really a guesthouse, everything else is like in the description. Stayed there for 7 instead of 4 planned nights and the staff was really helpful and conscientious. Neighbors can be a bit noisy though, probably due to loose doors into rooms, but it did not bother us much since we walked the city all days long and just crashed out at night.

We stayed here for two nights. This is a terrific property for the price. The room presents as shown in the pictures, and it’s a great studio for two people. The location is very central - it’s right around the corner from Galata Tower, the tram line, and it’s in the heart of the trendy new part of the City, with loads of cute shops and restaurants close by. My only slight caution is that the apartment is located on a somewhat secluded street (it feels like a wide back alley) which may not feel safe if you are travelling alone. We did not mind as there were two of us travelling together, and let me be clear that no actual problems arose. Some other guests commented about the walls being paper thin and about smelling smoke from the other rooms and hallways. We found our room to be very quiet; we could not hear our neighbours at all. We could occasionally smell cigarette smoke from one of the other guest rooms, but smoking is prevalent in Turkey and it did not bother us too much. We did not meet Gulcin, but she responded promptly to our inquiries and provided helpful directions to our cab driver, and Keren at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Overall, we would stay here again if visiting Turkey as the property was great value!

We had a great stay in the appartment. The people from the (24 hours) reception were friendly and helpfull. Everyday our room was cleaned up and we received new towels. The appartment is located in a very nice neighborhood with great cafes and small restaurants.
