Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
A warm and cosy cottage on the edge of the small town of Alston in Cumbria which is high up in the North Pennines countryside. A perfect base for experiencing the beauty of the surrounding countryside, from every direction Alston is approached over a broad, heather clad Pennine Landscape. Alston has a steep cobbled main street with a distinctive market cross, and many stone buildings dating from the 17th century.

The space
Fully refurbished. With two bedrooms both having en-suite luxury bathrooms. Both bedrooms have king size beds, the front bedroom has original roof beams on show. With a wood burning stove in the lounge, and new electric radiators. Within walking distance of the town of Alston which has several pubs and cafes. Plus beautiful walks from your doorstep. Not far from the Lake District, Northumberland, Teesdale and Weardale. Pets are welcome maximum of 2.

Information left in the lounge detailing walks, maps and things to do in . Basket of logs to enjoy the wood burner in the lounge. Enjoy a costa coffee from the tassimo machine and drink from Alex Clark mugs (local artist). Will find Egyptian linen on the bed and fluffy white towels. Key safe access which I will email you the access code.
No garden at the rear only an enclosed yard, there is a lovely park 50 yards down the road.
