Located at the very top of bohemian Santa Teresa in front of the most famous restaurant in Rio, and offering the best view you will ever see of the city, Villa Aprazivel is a beautiful 100-year-old colonial building that serves as a peaceful refuge in a booming city! This boutique B&B exudes an atmosphere of old charming Rio, with antique furniture, old books, gardens, a huge stretch of tropical rainforest full of monkeys and birds and even a private trekking path.

You are welcome to enjoy one of our comfortable and spacious six private rooms, single forest bungalow or big wooden dormitory loft with perfect views. All the rooms have been designed for comfort, with lots of space, wardrobes, tables and free wifi.

The neighbourhood

One of the loveliest areas in Rio de Janeiro, the charming and artistic neighbourhood of Santa Teresa is situated on a hillside with fabulous views of the city and has easy access to all of the city's main touristic spots.
Take in the atmosphere of old Rio as you walk along the narrow streets, enjoying the beautiful architecture of the colonial houses, art galleries and quaint traditional bars offering live music in the local style. The Tijuca National Park begins just up the hill from Santa Teresa, meaning the area is very green, well-kept and full of animals such as monkeys and toucans etc.

Getting around

We are within 20 min walking distance from Gloria metro station, 25 min. walk from the nearest beach. 100 meters from the bus stop which will take you to metro in 5 min.
Only 5 min walk from the bars and art galleries (center of Santa Teresa).
