Looking for somewhere special where you can chillout, kick back, and experience the magic of the Bay of Islands? My fully self-contained studio is for you. (COVID - Full refund offered if cancellation required)
The stunning view over the Bay and across to Russell takes your breathe away. You will feel a sense of peace and a positive vibration envelop you, welcoming you to your own magical world.
This is a special place for special people, come and experience the magic -stay more than DAY!

The space
The view is outstanding, across the Bay to Russell. The seascape is ever changing as is the lighting. Watch yachts and cruisers come and go, cutting pathways through the blueness of the sea. It can be difficult to drag yourself away from such an amazing sight.
For those musically inclined, there is a guitar (sort of kiwi tradition really). Why not immerse all of your senses.
Take a walk in the garden, stop and smell the roses, find a meditation spot, or pick yourself some fresh herbs to make a cup of tea (mint is a favorite). Handpick some fruit or maybe pluck some fresh lettuce leaves, you never know what might be in season.
The studio is magical and you will find yourself totally absorbed in its peacefulness and ambiance. The kitchenette has everything you need to cook a meal.
There is also a colouring book and pencils for those wanting to do some mind therapy.
Please note it is suitable for a single person only.

Where you’ll be

Paihia, Northland, New Zealand

My neighborhood is very peaceful. My street is a cul de sac and generally the only traffic that comes down the road are locals or people who are lost.
Just down the bottom of the hill by the Te Haumi Bridge is a walking track to Opua. It meanders through bush and along the beaches and is truly beautiful. Its about an 1.5 hours walk one way.

Free spirited woman with a love of nature and the sea. Enjoy meeting like minded people who relish life's journey and the learnings it provides along the way. My home is my temple. It is a place of peace, beauty and serenity. I am currently developing my garden and enjoying every minute of it. Love intelligent conversations, the sea - in it and on it, good musicians (especially jazz, blues, chill-out) . I work from home so usually available to introduce you to the Bay of Islands, show you around if you want and share a home cooked meal (I am an excellent cook).

During your stay

I work from home (I write) and I am usually on hand and happy to answer any questions, suggest things to do and see, or if I am not busy, I'm happy to chat, or share a wine or a beer. Depending on my time, I am also happy to cook and share an evening meal, or in some cases, treat you to the best home cooked roast you have ever had, (I'm also pretty good on vegetarian dishes too if that is your calling). Again, time depending I may be able to take you on a drive to some of my favorite spots, or have a picnic at the beach, or go fishing.
If you just want to be on your own, then so be it.
