Scandinavian style mother-in-law apartment attached to our home with separate entrance, bathroom, kitchen, etc. The Laundry room is a shared space with washer and dryer. New bathroom and kitchen with a WiFi enabled microwave/convection oven combo along with convection burners, refrigerator, and open living space. Fully furnished. Electric "cold-to-touch" fireplace adds warmth and a relaxing atmosphere. Private fenced yard. Street parking in a quiet neighborhood.

Our home is less then a mile from Point Defiance Park--760 acres that include beaches, a zoo and aquarium, historical forts, gardens, hikes and an off leash dog park. A five minute drive to Point Ruston shopping area, movie theater and waterfront. We are less then 6 miles away from multiple hospitals. 45 minutes from Seattle (without traffic), 5 minutes from the ferry to Vashon Island, and centrally located between national parks and forests.

My husband and I are both from Washington. We love hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, paddle-boarding, fishing, taking our dog swimming down at the beach, and spending summer nights on the patio watching our ducks and geese quack around.
