Beautiful top floor duplex apartment in a 1900's building, with 1 bedroom, 1 work space, and 2 bathrooms, located on the pedestrian Ferreira Borges street: Coimbra's high street.
This location is amazing, it's the centre of everything and you can walk everywhere.
With a relaxing atmosphere and great views over the city's rooftops.
You will be in a UNESCO World Heritage Site with all its cultural sites, buzz and life. It's the perfect place to stay. Clean & safe, just like your home ♡

The space
The apartment can accommodate 2 guests very comfortably.

★ On the entrance level it has one double bedroom with a Queen size bed (160cmx200cm) and one bathroom.
★ On the mezzanine level there is a work space, with a desk and sofa if you need to use your computer, and a bathroom with a shower.
★ As you can see in the images, one bedroom is completely closed and the other bedroom is an open loft concept. One of them has beautiful hand painted Portuguese traditional tiles.

Inside the apartment you will find all the amenities, including:

★ In addition to it's great location, one of the nicest features of this apartment are the views: on one side you will see Ferreira Borges street and the University Hill and on the other side you have a wonderful panoramic over the historic centre of Coimbra and even a glimpse of the river.

★ We enter the apartment by Ferreira Borges street. To get to this charming apartment does involve some stairs to climb since it's on the 4th floor (63 steps - more like a third floor). But unless you have mobility issues, that shouldn't be a problem. The location, the view and the comfort of the place make up for it.

★ You will be conveniently located right in the middle of a large pedestrian shopping street, with lots of stores and cafes (Portuguese traditional custard pie - pastel de nata - at the pastry shop right next door). You are across the street from Almedina's arch, only 5 minutes walking distance from the old cathedral and less than 10 minutes walking distance from Coimbra's University. If you enjoy nightlife, you will be in walking distance to lots of bars, Fado venues and restaurants. And when you come back home, you will find a quiet apartment, clean linens, fluffy white towels and all the little comforts.

If you wish to visit Coimbra and stay in one of the nicest areas, you just found your apartment!

This is a rental for the entire home. You will not be sharing it with anyone and have access to everything. The bed and bath linen are included. On request, we can provide a free of charge baby travel cot.

Other things to note
For stays of 8 or more nights, bed linen will be changed and the apartment will be cleaned at no extra cost (day and time to be agreed upon at check-in).

There is no central heating nor air conditioning in the apartment.
However we do have 2 space heaters, one in the bedroom and another one in the living/kitchen area, and 2 portable floor fans, one in the bedroom and another one in the living/kitchen area.
