One of GQ's Best Long-Term Airbnbs!
Located in the exclusive Sailhouse building, this large open loft with tall ceilings has lots of light and balcony overlooking Main Street. Great for artists, surfers, techies, or anyone else who wants to dive head-first into the Venice Beach lifestyle. The loft is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable month-long stay, including central A/C, voice-controlled lighting, a Smart TV, two workstations, and more. Check out the long gallery wall, too!
The space
Underground and gated parking with an assigned space is included!
The kitchen has everything you need including high-end Monogram appliances.
You can play music anywhere in the house, change the temperature, and even change the colors or dimming of the lights with your voice.
The large roll-up door leads to a balcony with a fire feature and views of the exciting Main Street.
The bathroom has two sinks and a shower/tub, and an unusual amount of space. I like to stretch or dance in there while getting ready.
The bed area has a queen-sized bed, and there is also a queen-sized air mattress that can be set up at the other end of the loft.
Keep in mind, it's a very open floor-plan, so it works best for a couple or small family rather than two couples.

Neighbourhood highlights
Of course, the best part about my home is the location. It is right on Main Street in Santa Monica, which has world-class restaurants and shopping. Walk two blocks and you're on the sand at the beginning of the famous Venice Boardwalk. Short walk to Abbott Kinney. Venice pier and Santa Monica piers are both within a 20-minute walk. You'll enjoy the California sunsets, walking on the beach, and excellent surf spots.
Recommendations? I've got them:
Best coffee: Gnarwhal is good, Intelligentsia is famous and better, Blue Bottle is great and has the best waffle on the planet, but Menotti's is where the aficionados go (get the espresso & tonic on a hot day)
Best breakfast: Gjusta is a short walk and literally everything is the best you've ever had. Rose Cafe is legendary and also one block away.
Best cocktails: Townhouse is the oldest-running bar on the entire Westside, it even had underground tunnels to smuggle booze during the prohibition. Try to go on a night when they have live music. I also recommend catching a sunset at the Hotel Erwin rooftop.
Where to be seen (and have a great meal): Gjelina (same chef as Gjusta, obv) has great food and a vibe. Elephante is similar if you're venturing all the way to Santa Monica, but make a reservation there.
Best Italian: I friggin' love Scopa Italian Roots. It fits in the prior two categories, too. If you want something closer and more exclusive/intimate, Barrique is a gem.
Best Sushi: If you haven't had Sugarfish before, order it for delivery/take out and eat with a movie and a bottle of sake. "Trust me." It's also good at the restaurant. If you want something off the beaten path and authentic, Shikibu in Culver City is amazing.
Best South Asian: Cobi at Dhaba. This place has a great story and I heard they just earned a Michelin Star... first in the neighborhood.
Best burger: American Beauty. They make a damned good martini, too.
Best healthy meal: Cafe Gratitude (vegan) or Vegan Thai.
Best dessert: Urth Caffe Tiramisu (try all three types lol)
Most expensive smoothie: hands down, Erewhon.
That's really just the vicinity. While you're in LA I really recommend going to Koreatown and Little Ethiopia... I've heard Korean people say that LA's K-town has better food than Seoul, and LA has the second-largest Ethiopian population in the U.S. after D.C.
