Regarding restaurants, I recommend the Petit Pêcheur: just below the apartment: simple, fresh and inexpensive meals. Chez Loulou, lunch on the beach of cork oaks: you will eat bagels + salad: the best, feet in the sand on Lake Hossegor.
At the bottom of Lake Hossegor you will find oyster shacks: superb especially in the evening.
As trendy restaurants: opposite: Mr Mouette, on Lake Hossegor: the Bistrot Balnéaire and Tante Jeanne in Hossegor.
Also many restaurants around the apartment such as Bonamour, Regalty and La Petite Table which are more gourmet but very good.
