Ski house formerly owned by the governor of Rhode Island, Lincoln Chafee and his wife Stephanie before they retired to Jackson Hole. It's being renovated nicely, so even though the house is large, I'm only listing the upstairs portion until the basement is redone with another bathroom and more sleeping areas. The best parts of the house are the fireplace, grill, large open living room/dining room/kitchen area, view of the mountains, and hot tub.

The space
Upstairs, you'll find a large living area and deck that's great for a big family. The grill, hot tub, and fireplace are my favorite amenities.

The house is two levels built on a slope, so the basement has full size doors and windows on the back side. The basement has a bathroom that was demolished by the previous owner, but never rebuilt, along with construction materials. You will have to walk by the dormant construction zone to access the laundry. Everyone asks whether construction will be ongoing during your stay and the answer is "No." The house works great as is, we're waiting for the post-Covid labor squeeze to diminish before finishing renovations.
