Hi All, Will be at sea from May 23rd to about June 4th and do unable to respond to queries then. Please hold off trying to make bookings during this period. Thanks!
At anchor in Marigot you are surrounded by an ever changing community of sailboats. A nearby marina is home to some of the most beautiful power and sailboats from around the world. Ashore a panoply of French bakeries offer gourmet delights.

The space

Just another word about going places with the boat. There is a big difference between staying on the boat - which is what you will do if you book through airbnb - and chartering it to go places. Chartering starts around $600 a day for a couple and goes up from there. But its definitely fun!
Stay anchored in Marigot Bay and enjoy all the comfort and convenience of shore life, using the boat as a floating apartment. Base price of $175 includes continental breakfast, master stateroom for 2 people and a daily dinghy ride to and from the boat. You'll have access to the master suite forward which has its own toilet and shower, a double pullman berth (picture), small settee and writing desk. Its a light, airy cabin with 4 opening hatches and 4 opening ports on the side. If you want friends or family to come along, a double aft cabin is available with its own shower and toilet. (The other aft cabin is for captain/crew.) Base price of $175 is for option #1 and includes breakfast and the forward cabin for 2; for the extra Queen cabin add an additional $125.00 per night.
Full galley available (shared) with fridge/freezer for storing your own food and cooking your own meals if you want.
The vessel CANNOT move off its anchor*
*See summary description above for other alternatives.

Guest access

Forward cabin.. optional 2nd cabin aft with shower and toilet.
Shared galley and fridge, Ice box in cockpit.
Deck and swim platform aft. Daily dinghy ride.
PLEASE NOTE. Due to airbnb regulations, the vessel CANNOT move off its anchor.

Interaction with guests

As much or as little as you want. A boat is a complex set of systems that require constant maintenance so we will be around for that, but otherwise treat it like home. If you want privacy close the door to your cabin and relax. You'll be surprised at how quiet it is.

Other things to note

Amazing Grace will be anchored in Marigot Bay unless otherwise noted. Dockage can be arranged by request if there is space available. Dockage charges, electric and water charges etc will be applied on top of the rental fees and charged out at the applicable marina rate.

Boats are small, intimate crowded spaces. Please be considerate of everyone else aboard! No shoes down below please, only clean feet or slippers. While you are here its your space, but try and keep the beach on the beach where it belongs and not in your berth. Water supplies are adequate for quick showers, drinking and cooking. Water is limited to what we can carry in 4 tanks so if you are on the boat for a while, please be sparing with long showers or we'll have to dock and fill the water tanks. Barefeet or soft slippers below! Don't worry its warm here.

If you want an adventure of a lifetime, stay on this sailboat! Alex was a great host who welcomed both my girlfriend and I and made our stay very comfortable and accommodating. Not everyone can say they've stayed on a sailboat. At night, the moon was absolutely stunning in our cabin. Felt like we were sleeping under the stars with the most perfect view. I'd recommend this to anyone!

Alex was a great host, he provided a unique and wonderful stay that was as much relaxing as it was educational. Alex made us a wonderful breakfast each morning and was happy to take us to shore and bring us back to the yacht via the dingy. He knew some great local places to see on St. Martin and saved us money by recommending the bus system. Cooking meals on board was enjoyable! I slept incredibly well and had privacy. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about our stay with Alex. His beautiful boat was extremely comfortable and such a cool experience. Alex was beyond accommodating and was such a great host to chat with. I'm hoping to stay again...maybe up north next time:) Thank you for such a great time, Alex, and safe travels.

Alex is a great host and his boat is very comfortable. I have used the forward cabin which has plenty of space (for a boat) and daylight. Rarely I have slept better not being in my own bed. It is not the same comfort as a hotel room and there are some limitations, but I would´t want to miss this relaxing experience.

What a wonderful experience! We booked a three day sailing trip and rented two of the cabins. The boat is very nice with plenty of space and privacy to not feel cramped. Upon arrival Alex asked us what sort of itinerary we had in mind, he offered suggestions and together we came up with a plan for our trip. We sailed all around St Maarten and Anguilla. Stopping at beautiful bays and beaches you most likely wouldn't reach via car/ foot. Alex is not only gracious enough to open up his home for this experience but also makes a wonderful breakfast and lunch for you on board. In the evenings Alex knew the best places for dinner. After a short dinghy ride you are able to try new places every evening. Alex is not only a genuinely nice person but he is also very easy to talk to and is more than willing to teach you about sailing if you wish. I highly recommend this experience to anyone.

Book with confidence. My wife and I spent 5 nights on Alex's boat. Boats, even at 50ft, are somewhat confined spaces and yet, neither of us felt we lacked space or privacy. I think this reflects how well the owner managed the experience. Since my wife and I wanted to sail and gain experience, we sailed every day and Alex let us help with manoeuvring his very well kept - and yes, moveable feast of a Beneteau. Not that he needed our help. Alex is the sort of experienced captain who doesn't let things get out of control - to our eyes at least, and we did find some good swell and winds during our passages, which was a lot of fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on board, and in the different anchorages we visited. This was an excellent vacation for us.

Soo enjoyed my stay on Alex's amazing yacht. Alex is the perfect accommodating host. I am looking forward to returning soon and staying longer. The yacht is immaculate and super comfortable. My gorgeous private en suite cabin was large and I slept like a happy baby. I really enjoyed lounging on deck and watching the full moon rise. All very relaxed, chill and healing. Definitely a 10 plus, 5 star experience, everything was perfect!

Love to travel! Enjoy meeting new people with local knowledge, exchanging views on current events, philosophy of life, new ideas. Sailor, cook, business owner. Hobbies Tai-chi, sailing, writing, skiing, traveling, yacht deliveries and good cooking.....not necessarily 'fine dining'. Enjoy a good glass of wine and the occasional Guinness. Have stayed in a wide range of places from luxurious to very plain; I'll take good company, conversation and simple surroundings over cold luxury any day of the week.
