Conveniently located in the heart of Ohakune yet still private with its own garden and maintains a homely feel. Within easy walking distance to restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, bike rental shops, the Carrot Park, i-SITE and Intercity bus stop.

Perfect jump off point to explore both Tongariro National Park and Wanganui National Park, or just winding down after skiing/snowboarding at Turoa, doing the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, or any of the short walks nearby, or biking the Old Coach Road.

The space
You have the entire place to yourselves including the carport and garden - for your exclusive and private use. You will not be sharing the premises with your host or anyone else. WIFI, aircon and heating are available with the option to use wood burner for that added ambiance. Plenty of parking within the premises with a covered carport at the back of the house.

Your bedroom is in the front part of the house with a king size bed and a wardrobe, and opens to the front deck and gardens - perfect spot for coffee or afternoon tea. Fresh linen and towels are provided, and with books and board games to pass the time. The bathroom is roomy with vanity basin and shower. There is also a washing machine that you can use.

The lounge and dining area has flat screen TV, and the kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, big fridge, kettle and toaster. There is coffee, sugar, tea, salt and pepper for your convenience. You can enjoy meals at the dining area or a brekkie on the kitchen leaner with 2 bar stools. We only ask that you don’t cook food that will leave strong odours.

On your way back, marvel at the mountain from the road at front of the property, if you look up just before dusk you'll be dazzled when the mountain turns pink.

The "Old Coach Road" is a favourite amongst mountain bikers. Popular as both a walking and biking route, it takes you through a spectacular part of Tongariro National Park.

Stroll to the Carrot Park to see our 7.5 meter tall carrot, the park is a wonderful spot for kids of all ages. Little ones all the way to adults young at hearts are all catered for. Beautiful stream with the clearest water runs alongside.

Gateway to Turoa Ski, Waitonga Falls and Mangawhero Falls. Also close to Whakapapa.
