Our stay with Cheryl was great her home is amazing decorated and she is amazingly friendly. Making me and my girlfriend feel right at home. Cheryl recommended us on what places to visit and restaurants to go visit in Huskinson. Please note. If you intend to go out for a meal and drink in Huskinson be prepared to pay a small fortune, it cost us almost 80$ for a return trip. Cheryl was an amazing host and we spent some quality time with her. I would 100% recommend staying here! Would love to return on day.

Cheryl made us feel most welcome. She was very friendly and informative about the local area and went out of her way to help us with maps and advice, which was most welcomed. Her house was as per the photographs and nicely decorated with a real mixture of unusual pieces, each with a story. Cheryl made us feel at home by buying bread of our choice and providing a lovely light breakfast with great orange juice! She was great company and genuinely enjoys having visitors to stay. Would recommend this to others to enjoy as we have. Mark & Nicky

Welcome. Having traveled many places in my life and collected interesting artworks along the way, I developed the idea of putting these two experiences together, creating My Retro Cottage, a nurturing space for others.
Leaving Sydney for a place to settle, I discovered Sanctuary Point, not too far from the action when I need a city fix, and so tranquil and restful to come home to.
I offer my guests a home away from home, an artistic retreat, a safe quiet place to be.
I have always worked in the hospitality and service industry so it is very natural for me to plan a tasteful and unique holiday destination, furnish it with comfort and quality and with my studies in horticulture, to surround it with beautiful and varied gardens, herbs and trees, to invite nature in and for the comfort of my guests.
If you need anything please call me, and if you would like some company, to share a glass of red, a walk or some kayaking then call me too. I live close by and enjoy meeting people and sharing stories and a meal.
