A lovely wee cottage in a great pocket of South Fremantle- beach and restaurants just minutes away. A very handy bus at the end of the street if you have to get to Murdoch University. Zen was an outstanding host. Have already booked a return visit!

We had a great time at Zen's place. The location is perfect; quiet yet close to everything. The house itself is adorable with plenty of space for two people, and heaps of storage. The kitchen is very well equipped - we had everything we needed - even beach towels. And it was so lovely to have the little garden at the back. Zen is a great host, flexible and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Zen was an excellent host. Very attentive, warm and welcoming. He pointed out some of the local breakfast and dinner places which we absolutely loved. The house itself and the location is very good value as well. Fremantle is a very nice place to stay, lovely beaches and many cool activites. The house is spacious and very comfortable, with the highlight of the nice backyard seating area. Thank you Zen!

Our stay at Zen's house was great from day one and we felt like home at this quiet heritage house; Zen was a great host, he was super communicative, gave us lots of good tips and he even provided us with some food as it was public holiday and all the supermarkets were closed. The place was very cosy, very clean and super closed to the south beach and cafes. The house had all the amenities that we needed during our week in Freemantle, washing machine, kitchen appliances, nice backyard etc. We will definitely enjoyed our stay and we would like to go back one day.

Zen was the most welcoming host. He showed us around his wonderful house, and gave us great advice about local attractions and places to eat and drink. He told us about the best time to swim at South Beach (in the morning before the Fremantle Doctor (winds) arrives). His recommendations for places to eat and drink were perfect: as a local, he knows South Fremantle. Zen's house was a perfect place to stay- we only wish that we could have stayed longer. Even so, 48 hours at his house was as relaxing as a week. The house is cosy and very quickly felt like home. We especially loved the rear yard, eating all meals under the red umbrella, and of course the outdoor shower after a swim at the beach, which is only a few blocks away.

Zen was very welcoming when we arrived, as he greeted us and showed us around. I was able to contact him directly, if we needed, and was very helpful. We were very happy with the house and location. It was a comfortable place for our small family. We loved being so close to good food and walking distance to Fremantle. We will be reusing this place for sure!

The place was really nice. It has even more to offer than you would expect watching the pictures. Everything you need is there – kitchen, washing machine, dish washer, lots of space… and of course the nice garden. Zen is a really nice, uncomplicated and likable host. He received us punctual, explained everything, gave us the key. There was even a nice, fresh flower. What we really didn't expect: he even wrote us during our stay if everything is fine – great! Great time, host & house. It is pretty good located in a calm neighborhood and you can reach the beach and the city of fremantle walking or by bus. Thank you Zen!
