This is a small studio on the ground floor. It has a very comfy queen size bed with an adjustable incline bed frame for adjusting your head and feet. It also has a nice work area or place to eat a meal. It has a well-stocked kitchenette and a nice bathroom with 3’ shower. The studio is perfect for two, but we can make an exception and add a cot or air mattress for an extra person. Or you may bring your own infant bed.

The space
This place is very comfortable, quiet, and cozy. The peaceful atmosphere is very inviting and many have wished they had more time here.
After 9:00 am I may be out front working on my sawmill or in the shop working.

This studio is located in a very quiet part of this sweet little community. Awesome coffee shop (Glacier Perks), best restaurant / brewery in the valley (The Tamarack), Blacktail Grocery store, Remedies Pharmacy and awesome gift shop, and much more...all within 5 minutes. Blacktail Mountain Ski Area is 14 miles up the mountain from the studio. Big Mountain Ski Lodge is about 45 minutes away. Also, Glacier Park is an hour away with a beautiful drive to get there. Make sure you ask me which way to drive to Glacier . I can save you some time with directions.

This is a great location to explore Northwest Montana from.

Rosi and I are a semi retired couple enjoying life in Montana. We love people and enjoy serving them by providing a cozy studio in a very quiet part of this small community.

Rosi works part time at the local pharmacy and gift shop. It was a dream of hers to work someday at a State park gift shop and meet the tourists. Well this is pretty close.
I’m busy finishing the homestead here in Lakeside. Operating my sawmill to custom cut lumber for myself and for customers. This has been a Great adventure. 90% of the lumber in the studio came off my sawmill from local logs given to me. When my projects are all done I will settle down in my workshop and build things.
We are always eager to meet you and ready to hear your stories or give you total privacy. Thanks for considering our studio!!
