One minute off the highway, this home is heritage-listed because of its significance as an example of post-war Modernism. It was designed by distinguished architect Peter McIntyre and has been restored and re-furbished by Jo. Bairnsdale is a convenient stop over and/or centrally located to explore national parks, the 90 mile beach, Gippsland Lakes, Buchan Caves, rivers, fishing villages, bike trails, golf courses and wineries.

The house is beautifully designed and decorated! Jo did a great job of looking after us! We had our own bedroom and bathroom but otherwise shared her space and used her kitchen. We definitely felt like family after 3 nights. She also gave us many helpful tips about the area.
