A stunning Coastguard's Cottage nestled in the heart of beautiful Winterton-on-Sea, Captain's Nook has 3 bedrooms and accommodates up to 6 guests and 2 dogs in comfort. The beach is a 5 minute stroll and the pub and all local amenities can be found just a few minutes from the cottage. Captain's Nook has a cosy yet spacious living/dining room with woodburner and a well equipped kitchen and family bathroom. On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms and a bunk room. Enjoy the huge back garden!

The space
Captain's Nook is a fully modernised 19th Century Coastguard Cottage which is full of character, yet well equipped with all the mod-con's you'll need for your stay. There's a comfortable, well equipped living and dining room with 42" Smart HD TV, comfortable sofas and a woodburner for those chilly evenings. The dining table seats 6 comfortably. The ground floor also has a well equipped and newly refurbished kitchen, WC and separate family bathroom - with a shower over a roll top bath.

Upstairs, you'll find two good sized double bedrooms with King Sized beds and plenty of storage space - along with a single room with adult sized bunk beds. The master bedroom has it's own ensuite WC and basin and another Smart enabled HD TV. Please note that the stairs are a little steeper than you may find in your own home.

A huge garden laid to lawn is fully enclosed for four legged friends and has an outdoor seating and dining area and a barbecue to enjoy when the weather allows. If there are children visiting, they can enjoy all that our detached games room has to offer - comfortable seating, books and a mini pool table. The property has been extensively modernised throughout and offers all the creature comforts you will need for an enjoyable and memorable stay.

Guest access
Guests will have sole use of the entire cottage for the duration of their stay. We'll always be on hand of there are any questions but will leave you to enjoy your break unless you need us.

Other things to note
Parking is available on the lane leading to the cottage - less than a one minute walk. Additional free parking is available less than two minutes from the front door, just by the village hall.

Our home is situated on the end of a small row of coastguard cottages and offers a little peace, quiet and tranquility - even though you are in the heart of the village. This location really does provide the ideal location to enjoy the beautiful village on Winterton-on-Sea and to explore all that Norfolk and it's amazing coastline has to offer.
