Casa Sumi is located at the edge of peaceful yet vibrant São Martinho das Amoreiras, a traditional Portuguese village in the famous Alentejo. The studio overlooks the countryside, with its gently rolling hills and plentiful cork oaks, and sits directly on one of the famous Rota Vicentina walking trails.

The village center is an easy 5-minute walk, and there you will find a few small shops for essentials, a traditional bread bakery, a pharmacy, and an ATM. Although very small, the village offers places to eat traditional Alentajano, as well as international cuisine in much-loved "Casa Nirvana", which is a wonderful feast for the senses filled with colourful art from the Heart.
