About this listing
A spacious, freshly renovated 2-bedroom apartment for 2-8 guests in a historical building in the middle of Old Town, 40 meters from Viru Street and 200 meters from Town Hall Square. We have listed it as accommodating 16+ guests because we also have three separate studios one floor higher and two more 2-bedroom apartments in an adjacent building - please inquire about their availability and pricing separately!
This apartment used to be home to a dynasty of blacksmiths, last one of them moving out in 2014. We've just finished renovating the place in January 2015. Now, the property has two bedrooms, a large living room/kitchen area, and a large fireplace in the large bedroom. There's also an open fire grill in the kitchen, but that doesn't function properly yet - the old chimney above it needs a lot of work that will take more time.
This house was built in the late 16th century when the sauna district was replaced with housing, and some of the old walls are exposed in the living room.
This apartment is meant for a group of 2-8 people, but we've listed it as accommodating 16+ people - we have 3 more studios right above this apartment (each one has a double bed for 2 more guests) and two 2-bedroom apartments in an adjacent building.
These apartments are perfect for renting by the same group of people (please check with us to confirm which ones are free for your dates) - the studios are located 20 stairs up from this apartment, each one has a separate entrance from the same staircase.
Please contact us to check availability and get correct pricing for renting more than one apartment at once!
Up to 8 people can also stay in this apartment alone, in this case we'll provide a double inflatable mattress for guests #7 and 8 - in this case the price for your number of guests can be seen right away on this website.
The kitchen is fully equipped for a company of 6 - pots and dishes, dishwasher, stovetop, kettle and so on. There's a blowdryer and and a washing machine in the bathroom.
The large bedroom has a 180x200 bed, and the smaller one a 160x200, both with brand new orthopaedic mattresses. Two more sleeping places are on the couch in the living room - it unfolds into a double bed. The furniture is a mix of antiques and modern stuff.
NB! Please note that there's a nightclub across the street that is open from midnight until 6 am every Friday and Saturday. It is closed on weekdays and Sunday night. We're cooperating with the nightclub on reducing their noise levels and have added sound insulation to our windows, but some noise can still be heard on weekends.
Wifi, cable TV, dishwasher, washing machine and bathtub, fireplace... We also provide towels and bed linens.

Be good to the apartment and it will return the favor! No smoking inside at any time please. Feel free to use the fireplace in the bedroom, but please do not use the open-fire grill in the kitchen - all smoke will go inside as the chimney needs more work upstairs.
