Leaping Lamb, our bespoke luxury 18ft shepherds hut. It is nestled amongst the sheep and wildflowers of Drews Farm - a working farm situated just 15 minutes walk from the train station. Lie in its' Kingsize bed and savour views of the Southdowns National Park. Woodburner, kitchenette, ensuite with hot shower and seating all fit perfectly inside. Outside; enjoy a fire pit with views of the sunset.

The space
Leaping Lamb is one of two shepherds huts at Drews Farm placed in the same field but facing opposite directions looking out over different fields, they do not overlook each other. Drews Farm is a family run farm with sheep, cows, chickens and arable land. The huts are easily accessible just off the farm yard and next to the main farm barn. Built by the infamous Plankbridge, Leaping Lamb is designed to perfection. No expense has been spared. The bed has an orthopaedic mattress, the ensuite is fully plumbed in to the mains water supply. All the energy supplying Leaping Lamb comes from solar panels on the roof of the big barn. A fire pit is outside with chairs to enjoy the sunset and ambience on the farm. Relax outside taking in the views of the valley and up to Stansted wood.
Secure storage is available for bicycles, kayaks, paddle boards etc.
Electric bikes, Windsurfing and sailing lessons can be arranged locally. Paddle boarding is also available on request on the nearby Chichester Harbour, area of outstanding natural beauty.

Guest access
Drive right up to the big barn, the huts are a short walk away.

From the host

Drews Farm is uniquely located in The Southdowns National Park but just 15 mins walk from Rowlands Castle train station. The farm is a mix grazing and arable farm, it stretches from Rowlands Castle to Finchdean and Forestside, the southern boundary is shared with The Stansted Estate. It is a walkers and cyclists paradise. We have sheep, a small herd of Sussex cows, chickens and two dogs.
The village of Rowlands Castle has 3 pubs, a coffee shop and a well supplied village shop, hardware and pharmacy.
Our nearest pub is The George in Finchdean just 10 minutes walk away.
