The Sunset Cabin is in the Moonridge area of Big Bear Lake, not far from Bear Mountain Ski Resort, Moonridge Zoo, and the golf course. The marinas are near by as well. Treat your family or group of friends to a real mountain cabin experience. Spacious and thoughtfully furnished with 2 renovated bathrooms and kitchen. The living room has a wood-burning fireplace, huge TV and plenty of comfy seating. Huge fenced-in forested backyard with a firepit & BBQ is great for sledding when there's snow!!

The space

The Sunset Cabin is so user-friendly in every way! Starting with the long flat driveway (long enough for a boat) on a relatively flat street in the most desirable area in Big Bear, Moonridge, walking distance to the new Alpine Zoo.
You will go to the only stairs on the property to the front deck where the front door has a keyless entry. Open the door to the coziest living room with plenty of seating for everyone to gather around the fireplace for a fun board game or to watch a good movie.
The large hallway is entry to the second bathroom, the master bedroom with a queen bed and the second bedroom with two twin beds and one pull out twin trundle.
The diningroom has an oversized window looking out to the tree-filled backyard. Perfect for meals, drinks, and meaningful conversations. The spacious kitchen has most everything you'll need (except the food :-D) to prepare a home-cooked meal and a dishwasher to make cleaning up a breeze. Off the kitchen is a multi-purpose room that you're sure to appreciate. It is a bathroom with large tile shower AND a laundry room with a stackable washer/dryer AND a mudroom entry to the backyard.
The backyard is where you'll want to spend time BBQing and enjoying the mountain scenery and local wildlife (birds, squirrels, chipmunks, butterflies, etc...). The yard is fenced in so let the kids explore so you enjoy a glass of wine while sitting around the firepit.

This cabin is in a quiet mountain neighborhood, but don't worry! Your only 5 minutes from Vons, Stater Bros, CVS and Walgreens. In the immediate area is Alpine Zoo, Bear Mountain Ski Resort, Bear Mountain Golf Course, the 2N10 back road with so many trails, and Moonridge coffee and Dank Donuts. East boat ramp is a 5-10 minute drive, there you can enjoy the lake from the beach area or launch your boat! There are other marinas where you can rent a boat, jet ski or kayak nearby as well. The Village is just 10 minutes away, there you'll want to park and walk to enjoy the shopping, restaurants and bars. Hiking and biking trails abound! Wether you're looking for an easy nature walk or a challenging hike, you'll find all the options not far from The Sunset Cabin.
