This room is often used as a third bedroom as it has a door, and a double
high foam single daybed. Quiet. Peaceful. Sparklingly clean. A warm and welcoming place to rest and recharge. The apartment is about 600 square feet, but amazingly, we have accommodated up to 7 people!

Other things to note

Incredibly wonderful family-friendly neighbourhood near everything. Quiet street. Close to fine dining, health food stores, great local restaurants, fresh local foods, friendly atmosphere. Utopia! Things to consider before you book: Our house is charming, clean, and almost 100 years old. The original oak floors of our vintage house squeak. We don't hear you - enjoy! You can see by our reviews that many people have enjoyed staying here, It may help your decision to know that the apartment can work for 4-6 people if it's two in each bed, someone on the sofa bed in the living room and someone in the sunroom. The entire apartment is probably 600 square feet. We live on a charming side street. Parking is on the street - you must buy a city permit online from "City of Toronto temporary parking permits" Parking is usually pretty good, but sadly we have no control over this. :-) feel free to ask many. questions before you book. We want you to be happy :-)

This place was a wonderful haven to myself and my partner during our visit to family in Toronto. It is very much as described, very generous accomodation for four people. Can only agree with other reviewers, very helpful and friendly hosts who responded immediately to any query or request - even when we needed emergency dental treatment they were able to offer help well beyond reasonable expectations! Convenient location and wonderfully quiet neighbourhood and house, slept like a baby, loved the new shower and Elaine's delicious granola which was more like a treat than a breakfast... It is an old house, the kitchen is small and dated but very charming and the coffee machine a great bonus. Highly recommended!

Our stay in Elaine's place was fantastic. The apartment was so homely and well situated, and for a group of 4 (using the extra bed in the sunroom) it was exactly what we wanted. Elaine was so welcoming and accommodating, leaving easy instructions along with some recommendations for the area. No wonder this was a rare find; would happily recommend.

A colleague and I had a fantastic stay in Elaine's apartment - partner Mike met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. More generous, warm-hearted folks you couldn't wish to meet. Everything we needed was provided - milk, butter, jam in the fridge, bottles of water, home-made granola to die for (the best breakfast cereal I have ever tasted), and fresh fruit. The house is lovely and in a cool, low key neighbourhood with some great eateries and cafes close by. Convenient for the subway (Bathurst, Dupont, Christie all 10 mins walk) and walkable to Queen St W/Trinity Bellwoods Park for more cool stuff or downtown (an hour's walk downtown maybe - easier to get the subway!). Amazing Saturday market nearby at the Wychwood Barns - great local/organic produce, wine etc. Magic. Thanks Elaine, hope to be back some day!

We had a nice one week stay with our two year old and my mother (3 adults, plus child). Location is excellent for young kids as is a one minute walk from a great playground. We had a misunderstanding re: pets as my sister brought her dog to visit; but this was handled to both my and Elaine's satisfaction and didn't influence the stay. The kitchen is quite small for four, but well equipped. Would recommend.

The flat was comfortable, clean and very convenient for the city centre. It was as described on the website. Elaine and Mike were generous and helpful hosts and we particularly appreciated the fact that they left us some breakfast food supplies so we didn't have to go searching for a shop when we arrived. The neighbourhood is quiet, leafy and there is a sweet park at the end of the road. A really lovely place to stay.

We are teachers and artists who live in an amazing little utopia in downtown toronto. We have lived here for 20 years and marvel daily at our good fortune. We are both comedians and love to laugh and appreciate kindness. We want to create an amazing experience, just like we appreciate when we travel. We live near every cool thing in Toronto, near 2 subways lines, parks, farmers markets, starbucks, great restaurants, Hot Docs and so much more! We have a super-charming, lovely, quiet, clean, self-contained sunny apartment with 2 bedrooms, living room, real hardwood floors, claw foot tub, sunroom and small kitchen. We want you to be very happy, feel rested, come back again and again. Many tell us they have the best sleep of their lives in our house. It has a great vibe, as does the neighbourhood.
