Charming digs featuring Pottery Barn furniture and premium cotton bedding located in the heart of the valley, close to Beacon, Cold Spring, Fishkill Farms, Millbrook Winery, Poughkeepsie, Appalachian Trail. One mile from The Empire State rail trail. Private 4-acre retreat close to the Stormville Airport Market and a 1.5-hour drive from NYC.

The space
Enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine from the private deck overlooking views of the Hudson Valley, or roam our country property.

Efficiency kitchen with refrigerator, sink, coffee machine, microwave, hot plate, dishes, wine glasses, silverware, spices, olive oil, etc. Does not include an oven.

The apartment comfortably sleeps, 4 people. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed. The living room has a Pottery Barn queen-sized sleeper sofa plus a twin-sized bed, and there's a pull-out full-sized futon in the den area.

WINTER GUESTS: For those of you visiting us in the winter, we live at the bottom of a steep drive. We do our best to clear it of snow and ice and never have issues getting up and down, but if it snows a bit or ices a bit, we might have to get out there and clear it in the morning. The driveway is long and steep - and gorgeous!

***TV available with Chromecast and DVD player (not hooked up to cable, but we have hundreds of DVDs to borrow.)

***Please note this is a second-floor space with a steep stairway leading to the suite. If stairs are an issue, this is not for you.

***If you are biking the rail trail, you can take the Metro-North Hudson line to Poughkeepsie and ride the rail trail to Stormville. You can return via the rail trail to Brewster (Harlem Line.) If you bike here, we are happy to arrange to pick you up at the trail as the road to our home is steep.

***If you need to get work done, We have a dedicated desk in the bedroom and strong WiFi. We also have a printer and copier in the main house and are happy to print anything for you.

*** We are slightly remote. Most stores are a 10 - 15 minute drive. There is a farm stand and gas station/convenience store that's about a five-minute drive down the hill.

*** Continental breakfast including coffee, tea, half and half, oatmeal, yogurt, toast, and snacks are provided (please note the selections may change).

***Bikes are available to rent $20 a day per bike.

***BBQ available upon request two days before arrival.

We live on the property but keep to ourselves and respect your privacy.

DOG POLICY: We have recently started to accept dogs. Please don't try to sneak your dog onto our property without paying the fee. We have three dogs and they know immediately when another dog is on the property. Plus, we need the courtesy of knowing this in terms of our own pets. We also have family members that are allergic to dogs who sometimes stay in the apartment and the fee is in place because we do a deep clean after a dog has been there. This is also a courtesy to other guests who might be allergic. We offer dog sitting for $20 a walk if we are around.

We have three dogs. A Bernadoodle, Golden doodle, and Maltese.

***We offer a country dinner party option where we will cook a farm-to-table meal for you in the main dining room or al fresco on the deck. We request three days' notice if you are interested in the dinner.
