Studio 14, fabulous fusion of Victorian splendour and state of the art living. FULLY SELF-CONTAINED studio apartment With NO SHARED SPACES. From Nov 1st 2022 featuring AIR CONDITIONING and TRIPLE GLAZED WINDOWS to maintain the temperature you chose and eliminate street sounds such as road traffic etc.
Fully equipped kitchen, spacious power shower and our on site laundry at the rear of the building are other features of note as well as first class transport lings directly into central London.

The space
Newly renovated and designed exclusively for us by our fabulous French designer! Our latest and greatest newly refurbished studio is now available to book. This is state of the art accommodation with charming Victorian elegance fused with contemporary styling that favours relaxed 21st century living.
Intuitive and controllable lighting allows you to set the ambience of the different parts of the studio for maximum comfort and effect.
As with our other apartments we have made a special effort to ensure that everything you will need for you stay, from bedding to pots and pans to hairdryers and ironing board….are provided for your use.
A communal laundry room with washing machines and dryers is available. Use of the machines isn't free, but the prices are kept heavily subsidised.
Studio 14 features fully equipped kitchen and it's own bathroom and feels particularly spacious. As you can see in the photos there is the comfort of a beautiful velvet sofa and the additional convenience of a table and chairs for dining or office use.
The flat screen TV is 50’’ and the picture quality is excellent, it’s mounted on a special bracket so as you can see it from where ever you are in the room.
Free 140mbs WiFi is included and the code is made available in the guests welcome book which you can find in the apartment, together with a host of other information which we consider you may find useful.

As a general rule I prefer stays of four days or longer but shorter periods are maybe available so please ask if in doubt.

Guest access
Fully self-contained Studio apartment with shower room, toilet and kitchen There is a communal laundry room with washing machines and dryers and conveniently located at the rear of the building.
All locks are electronic and will open from the key fob supplied to you so you don't have to carry awkward keys.
There is garden amenity space at the rear of the building.

Both Iain and I are very keen travellers and have experienced all sorts of levels of accommodation in other countries, with that in mind our goal here is to try and provide quality, self contained accommodation with a high level of privacy and independence.

Our studios and apartments are located in Croydon, which is in the southern part of Greater London (zone 5).
Croydon is a great place to stay, and many people choose to live here and commute into Central London because of the reasonable cost of accommodation and the excellent transportation links.
East Croydon station is a major transportation hub and is easily accessible, just a 12-minute walk or 4-minute bus ride away. Although there is no underground connection here, East Croydon Station offers a fast and direct overground link straight into the heart of Central London, which is much faster than using a crowded and hot underground train that stops at all stations.
Trains are fast and frequent, running every 7 minutes, and you can reach London Victoria Station in 15 minutes and London Bridge in 20 minutes.
A London-wide 24-hour travel card for use on any mode of transport from zone 5 is currently priced at £13.00.
We are well served by shops and supermarkets that are just minutes away and there are pubs and restaurants too.
We are conveniently located near Gatwick Airport, which is just 15 minutes away by train, with trains running 24/7.
Luton Airport is also easily accessible, with a direct train route passing through the capital (and St Pancras Station) to East Croydon Station. The journey time by public transport is around 1.5 hours.
Heathrow Airport is in West London, and the journey time by public transport is around 1.5 hours.
Stansted Airport is in the east of the capital, and the journey time by public transport is around 1.5 hours.
