Great local place if your're looking to stay in Corning for a night. Eric was a kind and charming host who answered all of my questions and was super flexible about check in. Excellent hospitality isn't limited to just the south: you can find it in Corning, NY as well! Past reviews are correct: the house is a "no frills" establishment. It definitely feels as if you are staying at home with an old friend.

Eric is a great host! The space is perfect for what I needed and was great in proximity to town. You really get a New England vibe with all the comforts of home.

Eric is a glassworker, a very nice guy, and very knowledgeable about the Corning museum (where he works) and glass in general. His house is very convenient to all of Corning by foot. The bed was very comfortable and the neighborhood and house are quiet. Staying with him had the vibe of staying with an old college roommate (you know, the one who toured with Phish and blew glass). There's lots of shared space (including bathroom, kitchen, and laundry facilities), and definitely good conversation, but no frills. This was totally comfortable for me, but if you're looking for a fancy "hotel" experience, this may not be your place.

I am a single adult male with a great passion for travel and the arts. Some of my favorite destinations to which I've traveled are Istanbul; Santorini, Greece; Roatan, Honduras. I love to spend time outdoors.

I'm a professional glass artist, and I work full-time for a glass museum as a demonstrations supervisor. My work is very fulfilling and it has led me to travel quite a bit.

I'm a huge sports fan, foodie, voracious reader, and I love to catch live music events.
