The space
Advance information: Unfortunately, swimming in the lake is not allowed. But now for the beautiful part…

I warmly welcome you to the lake house! It is located in a former vacation home settlement with about 200 households. There are a few other houses with direct lake location, but these are on the opposite side. The house of the direct neighbors is set back a bit and as the only house with a south-facing orientation, you feel like you are in a small paradise. With a lot of love for detail, we renovated it in 2020 and clad it with wood. The living room is equipped with parquet flooring. Due to the great south-facing location, you have sun all day. Enjoy the view through the large panoramic window in the living room or chill directly on the lake on the terrace. It is most beautiful when a little wind blows and the sun glistens on the waves. The view is breathtaking; in every season! In the evening by the fireplace, you almost feel like you are on a boat due to the light reflections.

The house is equipped with all amenities, such as dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and bathtub. You sleep on high-quality mattresses and snuggle into down comforters. A place to dangle your feet and caress the soul.

From here you can explore the beautiful area. In the Hunsrück there are many hiking possibilities and the longest suspension rope bridge in Europe. You will also find a great zoo in Rheinböllen. You can quickly get on the highway or to the beautiful Middle Rhine Valley.

This place is also suitable for children. There is a small sandbox and swing facilities for children and you can let them play in the garden without hesitation. Although you have direct lake access, no child dares to go to the lake due to the shaggy shore.

Other things to note
Things to do:

In Rheinböllen there is an animal park, highly recommended! Rheinböllen also offers a so-called "adventure pool" whose sauna is no longer quite fresh. The new slide is quite fun.

If you want to swim in the summer, I recommend the Panorama-Bad in Stromberg. You can swim in the Rhine in Bacharach, and there is also a very nice Rhine pool in Ingelheim.

If you want to have the most beautiful view of the Middle Rhine Valley and a table for picnicking, call me. Unfortunately, I can only explain it awkwardly.

Europe's longest suspension rope bridge is just half an hour away.

You just have to google beautiful hiking trails. There are many nearby, such as the "Traumschleife Baybachklamm."

In Bacharach, time has stood still. Take a trip like in grandma's time and travel from there with the Köln Düsseldorfer to Sankt Goar.

Culinary insider tips:

On the way to Rheinböllen, there is an egg vending machine. Very delicious eggs, ten pieces for three euros.

The very best bread is available in Simmern, in the organic shop "Sieben Sinne." The best rolls are available across the street or, a little closer, in Argenthal in the "Dhein."

If you don't want to drive that far (15 minutes), I recommend the rolls from the Wasgau bakery and the bread from the bakery at Netto in Rheinböllen.

On Thursday mornings there is a weekly market in Simmern. Especially recommended is the "Hühnermann." The chicken is incredibly delicious. The turkey roll roast is especially recommended! There is also delicious fish and a stand for organic vegetables. There is also a stand with good bread.

If you want to eat really well, I recommend the "Hunsrücker Hexenhaus." The trip is worthwhile in culinary and visual terms! Also worth a visit is the "Historische Weinstube" in Oberwesel. If there are a maximum of four people, you can even dine there in a "bed." :)
