The space

So Beautiful! So private! so open in the day time, so cosy at night. The views you cannot imagine! There is a double room en-suite room with a victorian style roll-top bath. Also a twin room and even a double dofa bed, so 6 can stay. We have a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and a round dining table with six chairs. There is a lovely woodburning stove and also electric radiators and wall mounted fan heaters in the bathrooms. The shower is really good! There are lovely walks along a beautiful beach. The famous Ty Coch pub is a 10 min drive away or about an hour and a half walk around the beach and headland. Be careful of the tides.

Other things to note

The access up the lane is a challenge! It is steep and narrow, but you can make it! Once you arrive, the 'WOW' that you will utter and the complete seclusion will make the journey completely worth it. Your well-behaved dog is most welcome but the garden is NOT dog proof.. dogs can easily escape into the neighbouring fields. The WIFI signal is really good. Most phone networks can get reception. The sloping garden you have to walk down and some old out-buildings make it inadvisable for disabled people or very young children unless supervised in the garden. Please be advised that Terry our gardener does occasionally need to cut the grass whilst guests are at Morawel. He is very considerate and won't start too early in the morning, but during high season there is no unoccupied time for him to do the garden. Say 'Hi' from us and he loves a cup of tea. White, no sugar! Whilst we have Sky broadband, which serves us well most of the time, I cannot take responsibility for any loss of service due to Sky or BT, but I will do what I can to help if it goes down. I can provide the telephone number and all details to talk to Sky between 7am and 11pm. If there is a problem, please call me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

As Fran says the road to her rental is challenging and is an experience if you meet another vehicle halfway! The rental is cosy and the log burner an asset. Good central spot for exploring the Llyn and if you are after peace and quiet. The Welsh Language centre about 4 miles away is well worth a visit and has a great cafe.

Absolutely perfect seclusion - the cottage itself has everything anyone could ever need, the views are jaw dropping and everything is ultra cosy. The bath is also amazing. Cannot rate this place highly enough!!!

Clean, quiet and with superb views- we had a wonderful stay here. The chalet has everything you need, including comfortable beds and an amazing shower, which was very welcome after a day of climbing Snowdon! Highly recommended.

The chalet is in a stunning location - the view is beautiful and the sunset is jaw-dropping as it sweeps across the chalet and the bay. We wanted a peaceful retreat and the chalet delivered that in spades! Our stay was super comfortable, everything was just as we hoped! The check-in and directions were perfect, and Fran was very flexible and keen to make us feel welcome. We'd heartily recommend the chalet!! (If you visit - make sure you walk to the Ty Coch Inn - one of the most picturesque pubs you could hope for!). Thanks Fran!

Such a great place to stay for a family vacation. There are a few walks you can do from the chalet door step. The view is amazing. Our favourite things were the sunsets, shooting stars, barbecues, fires on rainy days, bathtub and local walks. The kitchen was well equipped. Most activities we did in Snowdonia National Park were within a 45 minute drive. We would definitely recommend!
