We also host the Authentic Adirondack Log Cabin in Wilmington on airbnb.

The cabin is located just two miles from Whiteface and across the street from public access to Lake Everest on the West Branch AuSable River. Wilmington offers a small store, gas station, wine shop, town beach, skating rink and several restaurants. Lake Placid is just a 14 mile scenic drive with taxi service if needed.

We live about 1/2 mile north on Springfield Road and are available to assist with local recommendations and to answer any questions you may have. We want you to thoroughly enjoy your stay and leave with wonderful memories.

Wilmington is known for its outdoor playground for those who love to ski, hike, fish and bike. Our community is friendly and relies on visitors to support our local economy. The mountain and river views are outrageous, the air and water are clean and we have virtually no traffic or crime.

Public transportation is limited but available depending on season. Lake Placid offers taxi services.

We built this cabin ourselves. Our DNA is literally in the building. It is a labor of love and an expression of our creativity and craftsmanship. Our intent was to build a getaway that was environmentally conscious using natural and energy efficient materials as much as possible. "Less is better" was key to our decision making along the way. We made use of existing materials as much as possible and generated very little waste during construction.

No minimum night stay and no cleaning fee.
