The space

This unique, contemporary, architect designed two story property was the winner an Urban Development Institute SA award winner. There is nothing else like it on the Fleurieu! With concrete tilt up walls, commercial windows and big sliding doors upstairs and downstairs, and its feature floors, this property is spectacular. And thats before we mention its esplanade frontage and incredible ocean views.

This property is on the corner of Wood Street and captures spectacular views from Granite Island to the Bluff. The views can be enjoyed from the kitchen, dining, living area and of course the deck upstairs, and from the downstairs deck, living area and one of the bedrooms.

When you arrive at this luxurious beach escape, you walk into the family room, full picture windows allow the ocean view and the light to stream in – you are so close to the beach you could skim stones from the front door – just 35 steps (approx.). This second living area has a big comfy lounge, HD TV, DVD and Wii gaming console - so its a fantastic space for the kids to hang out leaving the adults to relax upstairs. This room has brilliant sea views. There are stainless steel sliding doors onto a front deck with a swing chair to relax with a book and a glass of wine!

For entertainment and work (if you have to - though you definitely wont want to!), this property has high speed NBN WiFi with a big 100GB download limit.

Elegantly simplistic in design, there are two double bedrooms downstairs both with built in robes. The sparkling white main bathroom (with separate shower and deep bath) separates the two rooms.

Upstairs is where the magic happens and you wont be able to help but throw open the big aluminium and glass sliding doors, and step out on to the eco wood balcony to soak up as much of the stunning view as possible. An outdoor lounge and a BBQ make this the perfect entertaining or chilling space.

Inside there is an open plan living area with contemporary kitchen with European stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher and stainless steel waterfall bench top. Carefully planned windows (including a floor to ceiling bay window with the iconic "Three Pelicans" sculptures) provide views from every angle and allows the sun to illuminate the room. There is an open plan living dining area, with a table that seats 8 people. For entertainment there is a 50" HD LCD TV, stereo (with bluetooth) and DVD, plus books, games and movies.

Polished oak timber floors flow through this top level and are the perfect accompaniment to the polished concrete feature walls, high raked ceilings, brushed aluminium windows, and LED lighting.

The light filled master bedroom, located at the rear of the home (upstairs), has built in robes plus an en suite.

Ducted reverse cycle air conditioning is throughout the house. Power is provided by a solar system for an eco-friendly holiday.

The bedroom configuration is:

Third bedroom - 2 singles beds (bunk) and 1 double bed (standalone)

The fully fenced rear courtyard has an eco wood deck, and enough room to park a car via the electronic sliding gate.

Nice modern facility with enough living space to house a few couples or family. Perfect views in a convenient location. We really enjoyed our long weekend here and would definitely come back! It was real draw card that we were able to bring our German Shepherd Raiden along for the weekend!

Great little townhouse ideally located. It had everything we needed for a comfortable family stay, except you have to bring your own bath towels, which can be a small inconvenience especially if you’re travelling from O/S or interstate. Upstairs has lovely views from the balcony of Granite Island to The Bluff and the beach is just across the road, restaurants and cafes are very handy, I recommend visiting Pa’s Fish Café down the road. They do the best homemade iced coffees and have live entertainment on Saturday night. Great shared walking and cycling paths, highly recommend walking to the lookouts at the Bluff from the townhouse and leave your car behind, the views are worth the 40min walk or longer if you take in some of the cafes on route. :) The property is listed as pet friendly which indeed it is but although securely fenced at the back is fully concreted. There is a grassed area at the front but the road between the townhouse and the beach meant our dog could not just relax on the grass. The staircase up to the living area was not really ideal for our older dog, something we should have considered. Apart from these minor issues we had a relaxing stay in this modern, clean and welcoming apartment.

Our time away in PetLet10 was one of the better holidays in a while, seriously worth the price & a very enjoyable location. The cold stormy weather only added to the appeal being able to look out at the rough sea. I cannot wait to be able to book & come along again to the same one or maybe try another of your listings. Thanks so much for offering pet friendly houses, Panda enjoyed being able to come & not be left home. Well equipped for longer stays with laundry equipment too. Big tuck from us :)
