Self check-in

Check yourself in with the lockbox.
A light filled, spacious ground floor apartment, with a large garden, just a stone's throw from miles of golden sandy beach between Bournemouth & Christchurch. The apartment sleeps 6 in total in two large bedrooms, with king beds and a 3rd smaller bedroom with king bed which can be split to make 2 narrow singles.

Park up the car, almost everything can be reached on foot! 8 mins walk to the beach via a zigzag pathway; 12 mins to The Grove, Southbourne's high street.

The space
We're relatively new to Southbourne and love the location in this friendly neighbourhood, so close to the beach and Southbourne's vibrant high street.

The living room and kitchen both have patio doors leading onto the large, sunny, west facing private garden. Both rooms are spacious, have seating for 6 and the kitchen is well equipped for dining in. Two of the generous sized bedrooms have king beds, with Eve hybrid and & So To Bed mattresses, and the third room is laid out as two narrow singles, which can also be linked to make a king bed. The family sized bathroom has a bath with shower overhead, and the well equipped kitchen has a dining table to seat six. All rooms open onto a lovely hallway adding to the sense of space.

On a decked area you'll find a garden table and chairs to seat 6 and a step up takes you to the middle part of the garden with sun loungers and a stone built BBQ. Additional garden chairs, parasol and loungers are stored in the cabin, along with components for the BBQ, buckets & spades, cool bag, fold up chairs and a beach trolley to transport it all (but not your children!).

A charming young family live upstairs - you will hear footsteps! A mutual covenant requires consideration for quiet enjoyment of the property, please respect this, especially late at night. This is not a venue for noisy parties into the night.

Guest access
The apartment has its own private access via a narrow shared drive with a short sharp incline. At the end of the drive, we have space to park one car in front of our "garage", tight to our garden fence, ensuring our neighbours have full access to their office space alongside.

For convenience we usually unload near the front door and then park on the road, which is free of charge.

Other things to note
We request that guests leave the floors tidy and swept through upon departure. If excessive cleaning or laundering is required we will seek reimbursement from the booker.

Dogs: we're happy to accommodate a well behaved dog (on a case by case basis), but request that they are kept in the communal areas and are not permitted in the carpeted bedrooms or on the sofa as Peter is asthmatic. Please also note, as above, if excessive cleaning or laundering is required we will seek reimbursement from the booker.
