Ajaya is a very kind person who prepares everything that you need. His house is very big, clean and quiet. The location is very good, from the Duba square only 10 minutes by walk. Breakfast is very delicious, bread, milk and fruit. The shower is very hot, you can enjoy the bath time.

We stayed with Ajaya and Sonita for 5 days. Their place is beautiful and peaceful, exactly the kind of home you'd want to come back to at the end of a long day of exploring this incredible town. Ajaya is very knowledgeable about the local culture and history and was extremely helpful in directing us to the non touristic and interesting places. Very highly recommended!

This is not a Hotel, this is a beautiful house full of love and genuine hospitality ! I do regret that I have stayed in different places in bhaktapur before (peacock and thagu Chen) Krishna House will, from now on, be my first choice. From the moment I entered I felt that genuine care. Ajaya and his lovely wife made me feel welcome. They couldn't have done anything better. I enjoyed the deep conversations with Ajaya about Nepalese culture and appreciated the tips where to go to have an awesome experience in this beautiful ancient city. The room was super spacious and clean. The shower water pressure perfect and water hot. There is wifi everywhere. Breakfast was prepared in the morning and I loved the selection of eggs (I had a spicy omelette, with Nepali chili BEWARE ! Lol) coffee, toast, jam, honey, cheese, yoghurt, cereals etc. Krishna House is located right in Bhaktapur in a little side street, very easy to find. I loved being a part of their family for 2 nights and will definitely come back ! Ps. Please ask Ajaya for the book I left with insider tips of hidden gems to visit... I.e : best head massage for 200 rupees, awesome veg curry with fresh tandoori bread for 70 rupees, and great momos for 60 rupees :) Please also check my recommendations where to stay in Nagarkot !

I was upgraded to a larger room but even the single room looked airy and comfortable. Ajaya's home is in a perfect location in a quiet part of town near the beautiful large pool It's just a few minutes from Durbar Square with nearby shops and restaurants. Ajaya is very kind and helpful and knows a lot about local history. Sunita prepares a big breakfast and is wonderful to talk with and very kind and helpful.

Ajaya's home is a stones throw away from historic Bhaktapur but is quietly tucked away amidst greenery. His family is very welcoming and he provides helpful suggestions for getting around. The breakfast is hearty and delicious too!

I live with my family at Krishna House. At present, as a family team myself, my father, wife and daughter run Krishna House as a bed and breakfast homestay facility. For us family values are very important.

Meeting people from different parts of the world and sharing what I know about our culture and nature makes me happy. At the same time I am also interested in learning about the ways of life in different countries.Hence, running Krishna House is a major part of my life.

I like to read books, both fiction and non fiction.Watching movies is my favorite past time. At times I enjoy walks to villages around Bhaktapur. Surya binayak forest and the villages beyond are really refreshing to hike to, specially in the morning.

Like most of the people in Bhaktapur we look forward to festivals which we have many throughout the year. Biskaa festival in Mid April, Gaijatra festival in August, Dashain festival in October are my favourite ones.

One of the places where I usually go with family is Nagarkot, It's about 20 km east from our place, and offers amazing views of the himalayas.

I also help the guests in organizing treks in Nepal, especially in Annapurna, Langtang and Everest regions. Depending on their interest I also assist them with tours to world heritage sites and medieval settlements.
