Situated in Upper Inverroy, near Roy Bridge, and with unbroken views to some of Scotland’s highest and most beautiful peaks, Rosie is ideally placed for visitors who are keen to explore the beautiful mountains, glens, lochs and coastal waters of Lochaber, the outdoor capital of the U.K. Rosie was built in 2019 upon an original early 1930’s road workers’ living wagon chassis. Situated in a private position adjacent to our house, Rosie looks out towards  the magnificent Grey Corrie mountains.

The space
Rosie, our beautiful, fully rebuilt 1930’s Road Menders’ Living Wagon, is situated privately within our large enclosed garden and is ideal for any couple wishing to explore the hills, lochs and glens of Lochaber, the UK’s outdoor capital. Visitors can get out and about, exploring all that Lochaber has to offer - or just enjoy sitting on Rosie’s large veranda, listening to the birdsong and admiring the amazing unbroken views to the Grey Corrie Mountains, Conch Beag, Aonach Mor, Carn Mor Dearg and Ben Nevis.

Rosie’s accommodation includes two extremely comfortable full size single beds, sitting area with woodburner (fuel provided), drying rack, kitchen area including fridge and combi microwave oven (slow cooker available by request), and bathroom with large shower, toilet and handbasin. As we have free range hens roaming the garden, unfortunately we cannot welcome your pets. Please also note that we are committed to a No Smoking policy.

Rosie the Hut is situated in Upper Inverroy which lies high on the hillside, just over a mile from the attractive village of Roy Bridge. We live in a relatively remote area but we are blessed with easy access to excellent shops, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants. There are three hotels in Roy Bridge, all offering fine food and drink, and a new cafe will be opening in the centre of the village this summer. Three miles away in Spean Bridge, there are more hotels and eating places and a grocery store. 12 miles away in Fort William, there is everything you can possibly require! There are plenty of lovely walks you can enjoy locally without even getting into your car or on your bike, but having your own transport will certainly give you access to some amazing sights and places.

During your stay

We shall be on hand to welcome you on your arrival and offer any help and advice you may require during your stay. There is a Key Safe in which the key must be left, allowing you to come and go as you please. Private parking is available at the rear of the hut, where there is also plenty of room for your bikes.
Our music teaching studio, equipped with a Yamaha electric piano, is also situated within our garden and is available for use by musicians by prior arrangement.
