Neighbourhood highlights

Burnette Island State park is located 1/2 mile away and beautiful. If you take a drive around sunrise and sunset, you will see the local deer that graze along the park loop. Snow shoers can be found on Ice Age Trail which passes in front of the cabin. Snowmobile trail is across the road and well groomed. Local grocery store, family dollar and gas stations for conveniences. Also Moonridge Brew and Pizza (signiture pizza and microbrew), Sams Place --ice cream parlor(brkfast, lunch and dinner) just to name a couple great places. There is a visitor center which has information on the history of Cornell. Yes, Cornell does have a connection to the Cornell University......but I wont ruin the suprise. Find out from the visitor center or Cornell library which has incredible archive of photos from the beginning days. If you do find your way to the library, look at the structure and take a guess what it was before it became the library.....step inside and the people are so friendly and can tell you history on the building. If you are a history buff, you better plan a week stay because the area is rich with interesting history.

I am a outdoor enthusiast loving what nature has to offer. I was a river guide in Grand Tetons National Park, kayak, hike and love climbing. Living in Cornell, WI offers a lot of outdoor recreation such as Ice Age Trail, Old Abe bike trail, Ice Age Natl Forest, Brunette State Park, lakes and rivers for kayaking. We decided to create a atmosphere for others to experience and enjoy what the area has to offer......adventure, tranquility and beauty.
