Liisa was a great host. She showed us her fantastic garden and greenhouse. We were really impressed! There are bikes avalaible to see the town of Kristinestad and surroundings. We stayed 2 nights in the farmhouse. Although we shared the house with her 90-year mother, it felt like we had the place for ourselves. The room was big and the bed was fine. Liisa and her mother are very hospitable and made our stay comfortable. We would recommand a stay in this beautiful farmhouse.

Everything in Liisa's farm house has been great . She has been more than helpful suggesting all the best places to visit there . The place and the city was really idyllic as shown on website . The more I really couldn't expected. Kristiinankaupunki is really a little paradise that is worth the visit for a weekend or more .

Liisa is the best and warmest hostess, our time with her and her son Nicholas was the best of our holiday, perhaps any holiday. He took us to their Island retreat which is a sort of paradise where we fished and sailed and gorged ourselves on picked berries and mushrooms. All buildings are late 19th century, each with its own aga type stove/boiler, a wooden watchtower in the center of the island looks out over the archipelago. And no electricity on the Island. If you want an adventure holiday, this is it.

Liisa is a very helpful and welcoming host. She provided both a bountiful breakfast and helpful information. In a farmhouse, accommodations are not fancy but clean and comfortable. Thank you again Liisa!

When we were looking on Airbnb for a special place to spend the weekend we wanted to experience how it is to live in one of these red, old Finnish houses. Since we are both foreigners living in a big Finnish city we always wondered how life in the country side is. The advertisement of the farm house and location close to the Baltic Sea made us decide to spend our weekend in the beautiful farm house in Kristinestad. When booking the room through Airbnb, the communication with Liisa was very good. Her response to messages was very fast and detailed. Upon arrival we met Liisa and her husband Örjan and got the tour of the room, house and the farm. It quickly turned out that they have great knowledge about the area of Kristinestad and have many wonderful stories to share. The room was cosy and warm and the beds were very comfortable. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast made of organic ingredients and eggs from Liisa's friendly hens. During our stay we got to know Kristinestad extensively by the help of our hosts. They offered to borrow their bicycles and gave lots of recommendations. This was very convenient and it helped us to explore the area. We would recommend the Beautiful Farm House to everyone who likes a simple and slow life, close to the nature. This will always be a very special place for us!

We spent one night at this beautiful, clean place with a friendly, easy-going atmosphere. The location is great - only 5 minutes walk to the old city centre, and still you feel like living in the countryside. Liisa and Örjan were really nice hosts who helped us by giving us tips about what to do and what to eat in Kristinestad. Highly recommended!

Me and my husband like to travel. During summertime, we live in my grandfathers old farm house in Kristiinankaupunki. We are both retirend and spend our winters in India. In the summertime we are busy taking care of our garden, chickens, bees and our cottage in the Kristiinankaupunki archipelago. We like to meet new people and are happy to welcome you to our home.
