Good location but not that clean. A lot of spider webs in the house and smell a bit. The doors in the bathrooms are not even screwed on properly which could fall at any time so please be careful if you have small children.
Response from Helen:
Dear Leilei I did arrange your accommodation at very short notice to suit you. The doors have now been repaired. thanks. Just wanted to let you know that the house has been cleaned weekly or even more often over the summer period. Spiders appear frequently in a bush setting and I like to avoid pesticides. Unfortunately the cleaners had to spend much longer than usual after you left even although you were only there two nights. I expect you've returned to England now. Hope you had a good journey. Kind regards Helen
This property is sub-standard. It is generally dirty and smelly, and many of the amenities are in disrepair. Much of the kitchen equipment is broken and rusty - pans and graters are rusty and handles are missing; a kitchen cupboard door is broken; the handle to the oven door is m…

Please note that this is our family beach house which we are pleased to be able to share with others and make available through Airbnb. As a previous guest commented “This is a traditional mudbrick style home on a bush block shared with friendly possums. It has all the comforts of home without the pretension of a more modern property. Its perfect with young kids/pets.” The kitchen equipment is our own and there are a few kitchen pieces which have been handed down from my grandmother prior to the “era of stainless steel”. There is also some antique furniture which has been transported from my late mother’s house in Scotland. The cupboard to which this person referred as a “pantry” is our own storage cupboard and the contents are no business of hers as would be the contents of our beautiful bureau bookcase. To our knowledge the kitchen cupboard door was not broken. We would really like anyone staying in our house, as this person didn’t actually do, to treat it as our family home and consider it as such respect it in the same way as they would their own. Our property had an expensive and extensive clean at the beginning of December including cleaning of all the carpets. Since then it has been cleaned thoroughly once a week or often more frequently and always before and after each set of guests. Thank you Helen
