Welcome to the wine idyll!
This historic Kellerstöckl am Wintner Berg is located in the middle of the smallest wine-growing area in Burgenland, surrounded by vineyards, orchards and forests. The location impresses with the beautiful, wide view of the Pinkaboden, the Geschriebenstein and the Hungarian border, as well as the quiet secluded location.

The space
The Kellerstöckl has an area of about 36m2 and was originally an agricultural building for wine production. The press room became a living room, the room a bedroom, in the former bottle warehouse are the bathroom and the kitchen open to the living room. The wine cellar still serves the storage of wines, which are available at ex-farm prices, and invites you to linger on hot summer days.

The construction corresponds to a log house with plastered walls on the inside. The old wooden tram ceiling with chopped tree trunks was preserved as well as the wooden floor with wide planks in the bedroom. The cupboard windows in the bedroom are also the original ones, in the living room and bathroom they were recreated by a carpenter. In the colder season, the window beams are then replaced by the winter windows and thus a heat-insulating double glazing is obtained.

The décor is largely made up of antique furniture and conveys vintage charm with a regional character.
The kitchen is equipped with stove and dish-washer, oven, water kettle and coffee machine, as well as fridge with freezer. Salt, pepper, sugar, tea, vinegar & oil are located in the kitchen cabinet, two capsules of coffee per day and stay are included.
The bathroom has a bath and underfloor heating for cooler days. Towels, sheets and hair dryer will be provided.

The lodge can also be heated in winter by the Swedish stove in the living room. We provide the wood for this purpose. If necessary, you can still switch on the underfloor heating in the bathroom or an infrared panel in the bedroom.

On request we can provide an extra bed for infants up to 3 years old.
