Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Superbly situated on a hill up a quiet unmade track we are a historic mining Count House. With far reaching sea views and landscape we get to enjoy both sunrises and sunsets. We're tucked away from the busy Cornish hot spots but close enough to get to them as well. Conveniently located just 10 mins from the A30. 15 mins from both coasts and to the city of Truro/Falmouth and 25 mins to St Ives and Newquay.
We welcome up to two well behaved dogs and children.
The space
Mena View is newly refurbished, comfortable, modern and has everything you'll need for a relaxing break. Steeped in mining history we are on several acres of land away from the hustle and bustle. We have an impressive private grassy area with fire pit and chairs with outstanding views where you can enjoy stunning sunsets under a warm blanket and then star gaze, or enjoy your morning coffee.
We provide a high chair and travel cot if you have young children.
Ground Floor
Open plan living, dining room and kitchen. Fully equipped modern kitchen, dining for 6 adults,wood burner and comfortable sofas and arm chairs. Lovely and cosy for a winters stay also. Utility room with Belfast sink, washing machine/dryer. Modern family bathroom with bath, huge shower and complimentary luxury Cornish toiletries. Stylish master bedroom with fantastic views, king sized bed, dressing table, chest of drawers and en-suite with shower.

King sized bed, dressing table, wardrobe and amazing views through the velux windows.
Bedroom
Twin single beds, wardrobe also with fabulous views through the velux windows.
Storage area for luggage
We have storage for bikes and beach equipment, please let us know in advance if needed.
We have outside seating around your firepit, relaxing chairs and dining table with chairs.
*****During June, July and August if you wish to bring your tent, you're welcome to camp out in our fields. Please message for details.
We're on the famous Mining Flat Lode so you can literally step outside your front door and wander or bike ride almost car free for miles.
Being 10 mins from the A30, we are centrally located so you can plan your beach days, site seeing trips and explore Cornwall quite easily. We are 10 mins from Stithians Lake where you will find plenty of water sports and a nice walk
We are on site and available to help with any questions and to give you advice if you need any.
We welcome your well behaved small dog on the condition NOT to have it on any of our beds. We will provide a dog bed and towels. Please do not leave your pet unattended for any amount of time. You're welcome to stretch your legs and walk them around our fields but ask you to pick up afterwards. There will be an additonal cleaning fee of £25 and deposit. Please notify us if you are intending on bringing a dog.
We have two young and friendly spaniels who roam freely so please take care when driving around our property.

We are centrally located in the heart of Cornwall near the village of Lanner. Just 10 mins away from the A30 which runs down the spine of Cornwall making getting to most of Cornwall's hotspots really easy. We are between both coasts and 5 mins from Redruth train station. We are away from roads and have amazing views of the landscape and sea on clear days. Redruth is a small town with the usual chemist, post office, Tescos, fresh fruit and veg shop etc.

Originally from Cornwall, after traveling and living elsewhere, in 2000 I settled back home. Our children are now teenagers so time for a change and a new venture.
After being an Airbnb guest numerous times I'm now excited to be a host!! A new and exciting venture!!
