Beautiful Brownstone living, Entire floor through apartment, sleeps four comfortably. Original hardwood floors, exposed brick, fireplace, wonderfully decorated with vintage furniture and fully-stocked kitchen. Quick to shopping, restaurants, parks and Duke Ellington's A Train!

The space

Besides Brownstone living gone modern, what's most interesting is the years of collecting antique and vintage furnishings all over the country to create a warm and comfortable space. Don't be surprised if you find a chair or table exchanged for another interesting chair or table.

There is a laundromat one block away on Marcus Garvey Blvd. Also, there is a 24-hour laundromat on Fulton Street, between Lewis Avenue and Marcus Garvey Blvd.

Brooklyn is full of attractions in its own right and we loved coming home to Michele's neck of the woods. The A train was quick and reliable.

My friend and I were very happy with this apartment. It's in a beautiful brownstone; it's a 5-min walk from the Utica Ave stop on the A and C lines; it's in a quiet and really lovely neighborhood with diverse and high-quality bars, coffee shops, and restaurants; and it's centrally located in Brooklyn and provides fairly easy access to Manhattan. Highly recommended.

The Apartment is lovely, furnished with great taste, clean, perfect for 2-4 people. It is quiet and still only a few subway stops away from downtown Manhattan. The neighborhood is safe, nice cafés and restaurants around. Michele is a great host - she was available when we needed to ask something, but never intrusive. We loved staying in her place. It's a real gem.

Michele's place was fanatastic! It had everything we needed. Super close to the A Train and playground close by for our daughter to play at. The neighborhood is very accommodating with lots of corner stores and great restaurants. My favourite place in Brooklyn. Will definitely stay here again next time.

This is a great location, I was on the fence about starting in Brooklyn for the weekend, but, Michele's home quickly changed my mind.

A few of the artists from our company stayed at Michele's beautiful home. Everything went well and we highly recommend her place!

One of the possibly the best AirBNB we have ever stayed in. It's located in a exceptional historical district in Bedford-Stuyvesant. That designation is well deserved for both architectural and historical reasons. Very close to the A train you have a very quick ride to downtown Brooklyn, and on into Manhattan. The house is amazingly beautiful and while the top floor apartment isn't quite as awesome it's much better than any NYC AirBNB we've enjoyed. Cheap too! The apartment's layout is very nice, if a little confusing in the pictures. There is a nice little kitchen and sitting area at the back. The sitting area includes a very elegant small couch and table which seats four for your dinning. The toilet is off of this area. From that you can walk toward the front of the building thru a room that was probably once used as a study. There is a single bed in this room. The next room is the largest. These two rooms are separated only by a curtain. The large room is in the front of the building and is extremely attractive. It has two large comfortable beds. Two more rooms are attached to the this large room. A room with your bathtub/shower and a full sized sink. And a room that I suspect was a small bedroom, or possibly a huge walk in closet in the original plan. This room also has a single bed in it. Michele was a friendly delightful host who we enjoyed chatting with.
