AFrame Kangaroo Valley is an architecturally designed one bedroom cabin located less than 10 minutes drive from the township of Kangaroo Valley.

Designed with a slow pace in mind, with epic escarpment and waterfall views to the north, the AFrame is a place to reset, reflect and connect with nature.

No kids or pets are permitted on the property under any circumstances.

Welcome to AFrame Kangaroo Valley!

Designed by Ben Gray Architect, the AFrame was built with a focus on locally sourced, sustainable and/or recycled materials, in fact the giant 7.6m lengths of timber that make up the 14 A’s in our home are milled from recycled telegraph poles that used to line a suburban Sydney street.

Surrounded by both Morton and Budaroo National Parks, the AFrame consists of one bedroom (outfitted with lush Hotel Cloud Collection bedding and I Love Linen sheets) and one bathroom and is the ideal location for a quiet getaway with the one you love the most. (Sorry no kids and no pets)

You’ll find us situated in a quiet neighbourhood of half a dozen rural homes (with two visible from our property so you are by no means in the middle of nowhere) and less than 10 minutes from the historic village of Kangaroo Valley.

Set on 16 glorious acres there’s loads to do right on your doorstep - from hiking country roads and swimming in your own private creek to soaking in the wood fired hot tub or enjoying a wine on the deck as the sun sets over the escarpment.

You’re also perfectly positioned to explore the region with Fitzroy Falls, Belmore Falls and Nellies Glen only 19, 27 and 37 minutes away respectively. The historic townships of Burrawang, Berry and Bowral are also only 20 to 30 minutes drive.

Established in 1817, there’s loads to do in the historic township of Kangaroo Valley. The heritage listed Hampden Bridge is a must see; along with a trip to Tallowa Dam and a day trip out to Three Views Walking Track or Drawing Room Rocks.

My other half Ben (the hairy guy in my profile pic) is an architect with a special interest in sustainable design science.

We've been fortunate enough to explore many beautiful corners of the globe. India, Nepal, Turkey, Morocco, Egypt, Bolivia and Mexico are all favourites but we've loved our time travelling throughout Europe too (Spain, France, Portugal, Italy etc) and have made two x three month trips living in a van and camping our way across North America, visiting a total of 33 of the US's 50 states.... and we can't wait to tick off the other 17!
