The space

This house is ideal for small or large groups wishing to have all the comforts of a family size home just minutes to Melbourne city centre.

Your Melbourne House comfortably's sleeps and accommodates 7 guests. A large open plan living, dining and lounge room is the hub of the house. This living area is light, bright and well furnished with multiple leather lounges.

The house is all on one level with a simple design that is functional and comfortable but is not wheel chair accessible as it has 4 steps to enter.

The kitchen is well appointed and has plenty of cupboard space and room to prepare family dinners.

If you don't wish to cook simply stroll to the Village for take away or to enjoy a meal out at one of the many restaurants on your door step in Yarraville Village or take a 10 min trip into the City restaurants, theatre or sport.

The house is located in a quiet street within the village. There are no parking issues as the added bonus of off street undercover parking for one car.

Guests please note the house has a front garden only. Yarraville Gardens with adventure playground and public BBQ's is at the end of the street and for those wanting to Yarraville Gardens with a BBQ or picnic, fold up chairs and outdoor picnic blanket are provided at the house.

The house has ducted split heating & air-conditioning throughout.

There is a large central bathroom with a bath and separate walk in shower. The toilet is separate from the main bathroom which allows access at all times and making it perfect for large groups.

Guest access

The home has 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed. An innersprung sofa bed off the kitchen dining area and a single bed can be provided in the second bedroom to accommodate a booking of 7.

The bedrooms are larger than normal sized bedrooms and with built in robes.

The property is very comfortable with ducted heating/air-conditioning throughout including all bedrooms and bathroom and is carpeted throughout.

Great location and plenty of space, air conditioning struggled on the hotter days but all in all we had a good stay here.

Thank you for your feedback Nathan. I only wished you had contacted me when you felt the A/C was not sufficient. I would have suggested you check that all the ducted vents were open to full capacity, guests do close and open these at leisure. Not all vents were open to capacity which is why you didn't get the full benefit of the A/C system and you felt it struggled on the hotter days. Its a very powerful ducted system and more than adequate for the size of the property. If you raised it with me during your stay it could have been resolved immediately. Thanks for staying and would be a pleasure to host you again.

Very comfortable and convenient house, and Louise is easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. The house was as described, although note that the house is split (not an entire free standing house) so you only have access 3/4 of the total space, and the other 1/4 is occupied. Also there is no backyard. While our stay in Yarraville was not affected by these limitations it would have been good if they were made a little clearer from the start. Would still definitely recommend staying here, thanks Louise !

This was a corporate booking Francisco made before his company had approved the funds. Assured he would re-booked once funds were approved I agreed with his request and cancelled the booking. He did not follow through which was very disappointing.
