A warm and peaceful one-bedroom cottage set on our working dairy farm in the heart of West Dorset, surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The single-storey cottage features an open-plan kitchen and sitting room with French doors opening onto a private stone patio and a large shared garden.

Enjoy scenic walks straight from the doorstep, or reach the famous Jurassic Coast in just 20 minutes. Nearby, you’ll also find a great choice of local pubs and restaurants to enjoy.

The space
The cottage is spacious single story with an open plan kitchen/living room. There are french windows which open out onto a patio private and garden. The garden is fenced, but is shared with the next door holiday cottage.

The garden has a south west aspect with views over fields.

The bathroom has a shower over the bath.

The cottage has underfloor heating throughout.

The kitchen is well equipped, with, oven, hob, grill. There is a microwave, toaster and kettle. The fridge is undercounted with a freezer compartment.

We have a washing machine and washing line in the garden.

Guests will received a welcome hamper of fresh bread, butter, milk and biscuits. We also supply tea & coffee.

Bed sheets and towels are also provided.

Sorry, but we do not allow pets.

Other things to note
The property is located on a working farm with livestock, which means that during the warmer summer months flies may enter the property. We are actively working to minimize this by installing screens on the doors, and we also provide fly spray and sticky papers for guest use.

This sets expectations clearly while showing your effort to manage the issue.

The property is in a rural location. there is no reliable public transport.

Some of the lanes are single track but there are pass places.
