Garden Cottage is perfect for couples or singles looking for a luxury self-catering getaway on the coast. Set in an organic wildflower garden, the cottage (adjoining the main farmhouse) is a peaceful spot where you can completely switch off, surrounded by uninterrupted views of rolling Devon countryside. It’s hard to believe you are only a short walk to the historic fishing town and harbour of Salcombe, the South West Coast Path and the beaches at North and South Sands.

The space
Garden Cottage has a luxurious cosy bedroom with a super-king Vispring bed and an ensuite shower room. The south west facing sitting room leads out onto a private terrace, a perfect spot to sit with a G&T and watch the sun set. The well equipped kitchen/diner overlooks the garden.

Our two acre wildflower garden is also available for you to enjoy and is shared with our friends and family.

From the farmhouse garden gate, you’ll have easy access to stunning sandy beaches, sweeping estuary views, crystal clear water, rolling countryside and wildlife in abundance. For walkers and seasoned ramblers, the South West Coast path is a popular option, as well as a selection of woodland trails and countryside rambles. Salcombe with its shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs is just a 15 minute stroll downhill (the uphill walk home may take slightly longer!). And if you fancy sand between your toes, North Sands beach (and the Winking Prawn Beach Cafe) is just a 10 minute walk down a peaceful country track. National Trust property Overbeck’s is a 40 minute walk or two mile drive.
