Enjoy your time in London in my spacious modern garden flat in vibrant Kentish Town. With local tips, great transport (24hr bus outside, tube 7 mins), a comfortable space with private bathroom & access to a south-facing garden...you’ll be very welcome!
If the dates shown don't quite fit, drop me a line and I'll see what I can do to accommodate you :-)

Please note this listing is strictly for one person only - unauthorised guests are not permitted.

The space
I love living here! I’ve spent 20+yrs making a lovely home which I enjoy sharing with visitors, and the local area has lots to offer too.

The big garden is a sunny spot and the kitchen diner enjoys bright views across it.
The single bedroom is set up for one guest - it has hanging space with plenty of hangers, a console with drawers plus a great mattress which is steamed between guests to keep everything fresh.
It’s also a pet free home ideal for anyone with allergies!

You have a full bathroom with toilet bath with shower; there is constant hot water with no need to set timers, thermostats etc.
I provide quality linen, a hairdryer & straighteners, spare blankets, European adapter in case you forget yours and if there's something else you might need, ask and I'll see what I can do!

Guest access
You’re welcome everywhere except my bedroom / en-suite thanks.
The living room is comfortable and the kitchen diner has a dining table which doubles as a workspace if you need it.

Of course there’s tea and coffee and plenty of room in the fridge for your food.
There is WiFi throughout the flat with a second booster to maintain coverage throughout.

I have a video camera doorbell monitoring the front door of the property. Please note it's not permitted to bring extra guests to sleep on the sofa / floor. If you want a friend to visit (not to stay over) just ask!

During your stay
Whatever you feel comfortable with; I won't intrude but if i'm around I'll certainly make you feel welcome also.
I like to present a fresh and clean space to my guests but my home is also very lived in, my things are all around...I think it's part of the charm but if you like slick minimalism, my place won't be for you!

I work long hours but I'll do my best to help you enjoy your stay whether I'm here or not.
I have lots of tips on the local area for eating, drinking, transport - I'm passionate about London and hope you will be too!

There's a folder in your room with information about the flat plus a local map with some of my favourite places highlighted.

Other things to note
Neighbours!
I'm very lucky to know all my neighbours, on both sides and above me. Most have lived here like me for many years and we’re all pretty considerate....there are no late parties, barking dogs or any of the things I would dread.

However this is a typical London flat...I live on the ground floor and my neighbour upstairs has wooden floors as I do, so just the sound of a single person moving around can be noticeable, particularly at night or if you're used to a detached house. His kitchen is directly above the single bedroom for example.
Hand on heart, only 2 or 3 people have commented in my many years hosting but I'd rather mention it as the room may not be ideal for very light sleepers.
Generally it’s a peaceful lovely place to live that I'm proud to share with visitors. Feedback suggests the same :-)

Neighbourhood highlights

Kentish Town and Tufnell Park - I love it around here! You can walk to Hampstead Heath or enjoy dozens of fantastic food & drink options nearby; you'll be spoilt for choice!

The nearest convenience store is less than a minute, the local Brecknock Road shops are 3mins away including a post office, bakery / cafe, newsagents, convenience stores, a phenomenal Italian Deli, take-aways, hairdressers & beauty bars, one of London's oldest and most popular health food stores and more!

Kentish Town proper (12mins walk) has absolutely everything you'd expect in a vibrant neighbourhood, and is quite a foodie hub with so many incredible places to eat yumm! Tufnell Park is less than 10mins and also has delis, restaurants inc. my favourite Thai, supermarkets, fishmonger, bakery, gift shops and so much more.
Kentish Town is on the Tube but also the mainline Thameslink train with easy links to Luton and Gatwick Airports, including direct trains M-F.

World famous Camden is 20mins walk or easy by bus and needs no introduction!! If you love live music this is your destination!
