Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.

The Grist Mill is an early 18th-century watermill which sleeps up to 8 in four double bedrooms. This listed Grade 2 landmark building has been restored as a gem of a holiday home, with contemporary comfort and style, surmounted by lantern and cupola. Enjoy open plan living in traditional style on the ground floor, and as you head up through the house you'll find cosy bedrooms and old machinery still in place, a relic of times past. Wooden beams, comfortable beds and new bathrooms.

This is a truly unique house in a beautiful, secluded valley. It was perfect for our family celebration - quirky, well furnished and with lovely walks for our dogs. Tall people might find the low ceilings a challenge but kids will love the glass floor areas which let you see all…

Very nice and cosy place in quite area. Surrounded by few other cottages but away from main road. Less than 15min walk to the local pub. The cottage itself is amazing, very stylish. It was perfect weekend away with friends.

Lovely cottage in the wilderness. Beautiful surroundings and peaceful. The inside could use some updated amenities but all in all a lovely stay

A really lovely house in an amazing location - beautiful walks right from the door and lots of exploring to do. We loved our stay and would definitely visit again. Just wish we’d had longer so we could have explored more.
