This house had very good comments but we were a bit disappointed by our stay. On one hand, the host was very reactive and helpful. And the place around was very calm. But on the other hand, the house was too basic for us, a bit too small, and with a limited amount of wifi (in terms of Gigabytes). In comparison with other rentals we had in Iceland, this one was too expensive for its quality.

We were in Iceland for the 3 d time and Inga was by far the best host so far. She was extremely fast at answering questions but also knew all the answers when it came to things to do. The house is beautiful and the fews are far, several volcanoes and glaciers are clearly visible even the Westmen Island on clearer days. My kids especially loved the horses on the premises who where very social. Vince

We had a lovely time at the (URL HIDDEN) cozy and warm! It felt like being in a fairy tail. Outside all was white and marvellous. We even saw the aurora borealis, which was our dream. The house is well equipped with anything one may need and it is within 5 minutes by car from the nearest shopping area, despite being otherwise rather secluded. Inga is a very nice host and took really good care of us.

This is a beautiful place in the countryside. Communication with host was good and we were very lucky to see the Northern Lights twice while we stayed!

Inga's cottage was even better than expected. It was super clean, the bed was so comfortable and the location was perfect. It was our home base for all of the day trips that we had planned in southern Iceland. An extra treat was seeing the horses everyday. So peaceful. And Inga was the perfect host by communicating with us and checking in via email/text. We can't say enough good things... Thanks Inga for everything!
