My home adress is
Rua Moscavide lote 4.29.01A 5B

Directions to get home from the airport:
There are several options:

1) Taxi
The apartment is on the expo site/neighborhood, next to the Vasco da Gama school, by the river, in Expo North, close to campus de justiça (where the court is). If you have luggage. I would advise the taxi, as it is not expensive, not more tan 10 euros, even with luggage.

2 ) Metro
There is also the metro :get off either at Oriente stop or Moscavide, but in either one you need to walk 10/15 minutes. It costs around 1 euro, single trip.

3) Bus
There is also a bus that brings you directly almost to the door, although it is not the fastest route, as it goes around other neighborhoods before coming down to Expo, so it will take about 20 minutes. It is bus number 708, in the direction Expo Norte. Count 16 stops and get off at the 16th stop, named Jardim dos Jacarandás stop.It is just in front of a small supermarket with a bright green sign saying FRESCOS. Cross the street (coming towards the river). The street that is there, in front of you is Rua de Moscavide, which is my street. When you cross the street there is first a sort of "gardened" spot, then a set of buildings, but when you start coming down the stree you will immediately see a bight pink/salmon building, which is my building. The first entrance has a blue plate saying 4.29.01 A and you just ring the bell for 5B, which is my apartment.
There are also other two buses from the airport, which are faster (10 minutes), but you have to walk much longer, since you have to get off at Avenida da Boa Esperança and walk to my building: bus 208 or bus 705, both coming to Oriente. A single bus fare costs about 1.70 euro.

It was a positive experience and Clara provided me with all necessary support a newcomer needs when arriving in Lisbon for the first time. Highly educated woman and a kind of a world citizen. I hoped that I could have spend more time in her house. A such unique experience that I would like to recommend to anybody.

The apartment and room were very nice, you have a private bathroom and cable TV, and there are beautiful walks by the river nearby. The price for long term stays is very reasonable. However, there are some negatives - it is a long walk to the train station (up to 20 mins) and the local bus only comes every 17 mins on average, and often late. Also there are usually several other guests staying at one time, and the host does not want guests to lock their room doors, as once a room balcony flooded and she could get into the room, so in theory anyone could enter your room while you are out - the lack of security concerned me.

Clara was an amazing host and she has a beautiful house with great views. From the moment I arrived she welcomed me and took time to make sure I felt at home and comfortable. I can't imagine having a better living situation for my first time in Lisbon. Parque das Nacoes is a great neighborhood and located near the Orient and Moscavide Metro stations. So you can pretty much get anywhere in the city. Also near the Oriente Station is the Vasco de Gama shopping mall, which has a larger grocery and tons of shops. The neighborhood has smaller grocery stores and cafes which are really convenient as well. The bedroom was very comfortable and spacious and linked to a private bathroom, and a balcony which provides a great view. I came to Lisbon for research and found that at the end of long days working, this was a wonderful place to return to, collect my thoughts, and relax. Very quiet in the house and in the neighborhood, and easy to catch transportation to the rest of the city. Highly highly recommended!

I was looking for a place to stay on very short notice and was very lucky that Clara's home was available. The neighborhood is a short drive from the airport, the apartment bright, airy, comfortable and very clean. Clara was a great host - extremely responsive and I had a great chat with her when she drove me back to the airport. Definitely recommended if you're traveling to Lisbon!
