We didn't actually met Ivan at all. This Airbnb stay is all about business not people hosting. We received a Spanish written long email about staying in Nativa suites. After my reply could I have it in English please a reply come back to ask what time is our arrival. I replied and received an email with the suite number and a code to get in and password for wifi. On our actual arrival to the building and lengthy filling forms we were sent to our apartment. What a surprised it was when we open the door there were another people living in apartment already. After a couple emails with Ivan, receptionist and another man called Pablo we were told They gave us wrong apartment although Ivan was trying to blame the cleaning lady leaving a mess in the apartment we were sent to originally. I sent another couple of messages to Ivan letting him know I feel really insecure in the building as anybody can walk in our apartment as we did by mistake of the Nativa Suites company. We received a call from Pablo reassuring us it will not happened but I was glad we are leaving the next morning. We asked the receptionist in the evening to order us a taxi to the airport early morning but on our arrival to the lobby another receptionist informed us we have to wait 20mins for a taxi. We didn't have a spare 20 mins so went on the dark street to flag another taxi at 5am. We made our flight and were really happy not to returned to that place again. The "real" apartment is as described and in good location although the hairdryer was missing (was advertised and it was one of the reason I booked there) but it was too late in night when I realised its not there.

The studio is pretty small, but who wants to stay inside in Santiago for too long anyway? And nevertheless, we managed to sleep there together with our two little boys. :-) The staff is very friendly and the location is great: You can walk to the main attractions in down town Santiago. There is a big supermarket nearby and several bus stops just around the corner. So it´s easy to arrive from/get to the Airport or central bus station. The only downside was the busy crossroad right in front of the building (apartment on 7th or 8th floor). But it wasn´t to loud at night and on sunday morning. Should be just fine for everyone, who isn´t afraid of some big city sound.
