This place is incredible! Amazing views out on to the mountains. Quiet and relaxing environment. The pictures and description don't do this place justice it truly is a wonderful place to stay. The hospitality that Linda and Chris showed us was far over what we would ever expect. A true retreat from the outside world.

This is a very special Airbnb experience. Our first recommendation is that you must stay more than one night. Linda and her husband Chris have created a fascinating environmentally-sensitive home on the top of a mountain. Linda greeted us warmly and showed us our room in the neighbouring cabin, just a brief walk from the main house. It was simply and tastefully decorated and had a full length window looking out into the beautiful natural setting. We made dinner in the main house alongside other guests and had lively discussions that lasted all evening. In response to our many questions about their property, Linda, Chris and Warren shared their experience and tremendous knowledge in creating this amazing home. Linda was especially kind and made you feel at home. We were sad that we had not booked to stay longer. They are truly lovely people who have created a very special lifestyle and home. Highly recommended.

We couldn't have been luckier than to have found this absolute gem of a place in the mountains half an hour from Butte. Linda and Warren made us feel so welcome, and the house and surrounding area are absolutely stunning. We slept in the guest lodge, which was beautifully warmed with a log fire and had comfortable beds. We found the small double to be a little too small for both of us so took separate beds (the small double and a single) and were very comfortable indeed. They have just finished building a new labyrinth on the property grounds. We really enjoyed walking it and listening to the sand beneath our feet - it's a very meditative and calming experience. I just wish I'd also had time to use the yoga studio! I strongly recommend anyone to stay here, whether for one night passing through as we did, or for longer if you have the time.

Wow! What a gem tucked away in the Montana wilderness. Use Linda's detailed directions. They will simplify your arrival, and you'll want to get there as soon as you can, because this is a magical place! Unparalleled hospitality. Everyone was friendly and incredibly kind. Home cooked food that was utterly delicious as well as hot water for tea waiting for me upon arrival. The wood stove in the guest house kept me toasty warm, and the view was beautiful from the Ivy Room. I could have spent hours on the lovely hiking trail they have created for guests, looking at the rock formations and soaking in the stillness. It is blissfully quiet here, and I cannot wait to go back!

Beautiful and secluded retreat we stayed at for a wedding in Twin Bridges. Was a doable commute and the area has tons more to offer, hikes, nature, fishing galore. Stunning area of Montana.

Sage Mountain Center is a wonderful place where you can get away from the noise of life. The accommodations are inviting, cozy and clean. Linda and Chris are so welcoming and helpful. And the property offers a chance to leave technology and get in touch with the beautiful outside that we all need in our lives. The first morning I walked outside and the smell of sage and pine took me to my happy place. I highly recommend staying at Sage Mountain Center and wish to go back some day for a longer visit.
