This house is Native-owned and is located on the Wind River Reservation - home to the Eastern Shoshone Tribe and the Northern Arapaho Tribe. Visit local gift shops featuring Native art, local historical sites like Sacajawea and Chief Washakie’s resting places, or for 18+, enjoy the local casinos including the Shoshone Rose (7 minutes away). You can also purchase a daily fishing license to venture up to Moccasin lake (with an appropriate vehicle) or other available fishing and hiking locations on the Reservation.

We’re in proximity to other tremendous sites, including family-friendly hikes to Sinks Canyon, or more-rigorous rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing sites. Take a few days and explore all that Fremont County has to offer!

Grocery stores are minutes away (3 minutes to Hines General Store, or 10 minutes from Safeway, Starbucks, or Mr. D’s local grocery), along with restaurants, casual dining, and all features of a local western town.
