I pride myself in giving my guests a relaxing, peaceful home to get away to. If you are coming for a week or a weekend, you will enjoy the amenities that are offered. Access to a private beach on Lake Huron that is great for swimming and walking. House is surrounded by a small woods with enjoyable wildlife. Location is minutes from downtown Oscoda, world class golfing at Lakewood Shores, the Au Sable River, Huron National Forrest, and so much more.

The space
Sit on back deck and enjoy birds, deer, and rabbits. Have a cup of coffee on front porch and watch the sunrise over the lake. You will feel like you are away from it all but with still having the amenities nearby. The home is themed with the outdoors in mind. It is located on a side street with low traffic.

Fishing and boating on Van Etten Lake, Au Sable River, and Cedar Lake.
Lots of inland lakes around area.
Cedar Lake has a no cost public boat ramp to put in jet skis, boat's, kayaks, etc. House has access to a private beach on Lake Huron. The beach area is clean and quiet. A beach cart is provided that includes chairs and an umbrella.
The house is surrounded by woods. The yard is sprayed so bugs are not a issue most of the time. There is also a fire pit to sit and enjoy fire's and smores in the back yard.

I grew up in Oscoda Michigan left to Florida for 18 years and decided to raise my family in my hometown. I am a family person who loves the outdoors. Having cancer 3+ years ago drove me into early retirement. Needing extra income I decided to start a Airbnb just in the summer months. I fround a 1986 motor home and go where the wind takes me. I fish and deer hunt better than most women at my age. You could say it's my menatation . I am proud grandma and motorcycle dirt bike mom. I travel to moto races with my boys all over Michigan . I have family in England and France and have travel there quite a bit.

I will be in town most of your stay. If a problem comes about, I will do by best to address it. I am always only a text or phone call away. For extended stays I can provide additional cleaning service's for $50. On rare occasions, I may have to get something from my private entrance in storage, but in most cases you will not interact with me unless needed. I am more than willing to help and give advice on outings in area.
