This charming cottage, oozing with character, is set in a quiet corner of the old part of the delightful market town of Settle. Just 400 yards from the market square with its many independent shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. Beautifully modernised but retaining its original character with exposed stone work, wood lintels and cast iron range (decorative only). Comfortably furnished and well equipped, the cottage provides a welcoming and cosy holiday home for 2 people.

The space
The cottage is centrally heated throughout.
Downstairs there is a fully equipped dining kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, fridge, microwave, dolce gusto coffee machine, washing machine and dishwasher. The lounge includes a smart TV, DVD, and wifi. There is an electric cast iron stove heater for cosy nights in.
Upstairs there is 1 double bedroom, and a bathroom with bath/shower, toilet and heated towel rail.
As you can see from the photos, the cottage has a steep staircase and might not be suitable for those with restricted mobility.
Outside there is a lovely garden area with a wooden bench, and a table and chairs to sit, relax and hopefully catch some sunshine!

This is an perfect base for the Yorkshire Dales. Walkers have easy access to the open hills and fells which surround Settle, and also the Three Peaks, Malham Cove and the wider Dales area. Settle lies on the River Ribble, nearby is the Trough of Bowland and even the Lake District is only an hour by car.
